Official Tentrr site. Tentrr is a trusted partner of BookOutdoors. There are three primitive tent sites (Trails End, Tall Timber and Edge of Mountain Trail) at the end of the mountain road. These sites require you to bring your own tent, etc. In the fall the autumn leaves surround you. You are remote. There is a loo with privacy tent for convenience, garbage can and firepit (one complimentary bundle of firewood). You can hike to the site or we can drive you in the side by side.
The Glade Site, Creekside and Halfway There are Tentrr Signature Sites that come with a spacious cabin tent with a queen size bed. All you need is your sleeping bags or bedding.
If more than 2 people are staying, there's a 6 man tent available for the Halfway There site to accommodate additional guests. You can set it up where you want. There are cots available for cabin tent. Please let us know when you make your reservation if you need the tent so we can set it aside for you.
There is a picnic table and firepit/grill on campsite and a loo with popup privacy tent and a solar shower. There is a heater in the cabin tent for those chilly nights (heater provided from Oct 1st thru Apr 1st). Cabin tent is winterized with a rug on floor and insulated rain fly for warmth. Heater takes off that chill.
WE HAVE A NEW SHOWER AVAILABLE TO OUR CAMPERS, so after a day of hiking you can rinse off the day.
We are a family friendly property. You are on an edge of the remote control crawling trails on the property so if you are an avid RC crawler you have free access to all of the courses for crawling except during an event.or just sit and relax in your own piece of seclusion. The property only has one neighbor that you won't be able to see and we back up to the Foothills Parkway of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park (GSMNP).We are located in Wears Valley, TN with quaint antique stores, Alwine Pottery, food and distilleries and wine tasting. We are approx a mile and half from the Wears Valley entrance to the Smoky Mountain National park.We are approx 2 miles from the entrance to the Foothills Parkway with all of it's breathtaking views. We are 5 miles from Townsend, TN (quiet side of Smokies), Cades Cove, Tuckaleechee Caverns, River rafting, River tubing, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, etc.We are 8 miles from Pigeon Forge, TN with all of the attractions one could want - rides, eateries, dinner theatres, Dollywood, etc.We are approx 15 miles from Gatlinburg with all Gatlinburg has to offer.
