Open from April through October, our 8-acre campground is located on the banks of the Greenbrier River with tree-lined RV sites, wooded riverside tent camping, and rentals that include four comfortable, fully-equipped cabins, vintage Airstreams and a 1964 Shasta. Our guests have access to a thousand feet of riverfront for great fishing and one of the best swimming holes on the river. We also offer full-service tubing, kayak, and canoe trips in the very heart of the best paddling waters on the Greenbrier. There’s Class I thru Class III action for all levels of paddling skill.

’64 SHASTA

Our ’64 Shasta is 16′ long and sleeps 3 (rates listed are based on double occupancy). Enjoy a retro camping experience on the river, but with civilized amenities. Included is a small cable TV, fan, gas grill, a small fridge and coffee maker. Potable water is available on the site, a port-a-potty is nearby and the bath house is available with bathrooms and showers. There’s also a fire ring and picnic table, all surrounded by a privacy fence. Bring your pillows, sleeping bags and/or linens plus cooking and eating utensils. The Shasta is pet-friendly; additional fees apply.

AIRSTREAM ESCAPE

Enjoy a week day, weekend or a week-long escape for two in our renovated 25′ Airstream Excella (maximum 2 adults; please, no children and no pets). It has a queen-size bed, full bath and kitchen. Outside is a large deck, fire bowl and a spa under a gazebo that overlooks the river – all surrounded by a privacy fence. A $50 refundable spa deposit is required.

AIRSTREAM GETAWAY

Our renovated 32′ Airstream Excella 1000 (maximum 2 adults; no pets) has a large deck and a spa that overlooks the river. It’s surrounded by a privacy fence and features all the amenities (gas grill, fire pit, comfortable queen-size bed, full kitchen) you need for a great getaway. A $50 refundable spa deposit is required.

River Cabin

The River Cabin has a large outdoor area with a dining deck overlooking the river. It is surrounded by a privacy fence. This cozy cabin has a screened-in front porch and a spa. It has a private bedroom with a full-size bed and a couch in the living area to sleep a maximum of 4 (maximum 2 adults/2 small children or 3 adults); rates listed are based on double occupancy. It has a full bath and efficiency kitchen: cook-top with 2 burners, microwave, sink, and under-the-counter refrigerator. A $50 refundable spa deposit is required. This is a pet-friendly unit (1 pet under 30 lbs); additional fees apply.

MOUNTAIN HIDEAWAY CABIN

The Mountain Hideaway Cabin — with a loft, dining gazebo and river views — is ideal for families. The master bedroom downstairs has a queen-size bed while the 58″-high loft (accessible by stairs; no ladders!) has twin beds. The Hideaway includes a kitchen with full-size fridge, microwave, cook top, bath, and living area with a twin-sleeper sofa (maximum 5 guests; rates listed are based on double occupancy). There is a spa just outside behind a privacy fence. A $50 refundable spa deposit is required. This is a pet-friendly unit (1 pet under 50 lbs); additional fees apply.

RIVER HOUSE

The River House is a great getaway for families, fishing parties or river rats. It has two bedrooms – each with a full-size and a single bed. Relax with a full kitchen and bath, living area with couch, dining table, and a large outdoor space, all overlooking the river. It sleeps a maximum of 6 (rates listed are based on double occupancy). River Retreat

The River Retreat cabin is in a prime location on our grounds. It’s in a wooded setting behind a privacy fence with an amazing view where you can enjoy the sound of river rapids. There are two bedrooms: the master has a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has a full-size and a single bed (maximum 6 guests; rates listed are based on double occupancy). It includes a full kitchen, bath, and living area with futon. There is a spa just outside. A $50 refundable spa deposit is required. This is a pet-friendly unit (1 pet under 50 lbs); additional fees apply. Includes: AC and heat, full bath, cable TV and wifi, linens and towels, coffee maker, blender and toaster, basic cookware, plates, cutlery, etc. Also includes gas grill, picnic/outdoor table and a fire ring.

Policies
Park Policy

A 14-day notice of cancellation is required. Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to arrival are refunded minus a 10% fee. Cancellations within the 14-day period are non-refundable. The Campground may, at its option, issue a refund or credit for future stays (less a 10% nonrefundable portion) if we are able to rebook the same time period with no loss of revenue.

We have no influence over the weather, the fish, or the river and do not issue refunds for acts of nature or events that we cannot control.

We do not give refunds for early departures. No-shows will be charged for the entire stay.

Rules & Regulations

All reservations require a 50% deposit. Online reservations deposits may only be paid with a credit card.

Reservations made for holidays or special event periods must be paid in full 2 weeks in advance of arrival.

Reservations made within 7 days of a stay must be paid in full at the time of booking.

A $50 refundable spa deposit is required on units with a hot tub.

Payment for the remaining balance is due at check-in with exceptions as noted below.

Payment is accepted via credit card, check or money order. If paying by cash or check, a valid credit card is still required upon check-in.

A $35 service fee will be added for any returned checks.

Check in starts at 3 PM for rental cabins or any time after 1 p.m. for RV and tent sites. Check out is at 11:00 a.m. Visitors must register with the office and be offsite by 10 PM. Fees may apply for visitors. Overnight guests must register and related fees will be added to your reservation.

All reservations require a 50% deposit. Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to arrival are refunded minus a 10% fee. Cancellations within the 14 day period are non-refundable. Reservations for stays of 30 days or more require a 30-day notice of cancellation. We have no control over the weather, the fish or the river and do not issue refunds for acts of nature or cancellations of local events.

Pets are allowed, but certain breed restrictions apply. Call the office for details. We reserve the right to ask guests to leave if your pet behaves in an aggressive manner. Pets must be leashed at all times. Pet owners shall clean up after pets and insure they do not disturb other guests. If you leave the grounds for any length of time and leave pets behind, they must be secured inside your rig. Pets must be registered in advance. Pet waste must be bagged and placed inside household garbage bags for pickup or taken to the dumpster. We follow federal guidelines for guests requiring service animals. Additional information available at check-in.

Children under twelve shall be accompanied by an adult at all times, especially while enjoying the river. No bike riding after dark.

Quiet time is 11 PM through 8 AM each day.

Alcoholic beverages are allowed at your site. West Virginia legal age is 21. Be responsible and respectful or be gone. Use of illegal drugs is not allowed.

Open carry of firearms is prohibited on the grounds.

Fires are allowed at the sites. Fire rings are provided and no fires are allowed other than in the rings. Wood is available for purchase through the office. Due to WV regulations regarding invasive insects, if you choose to bring wood it must be from a local source and burned completely before you leave. Learn more at dontmovefirewood.org.

Do not cut, tie, nail or drive screw eyes into our trees for any reason. If you feel a limb interferes with your setup, contact the office.

Bagged trash is picked up daily at RV sites and cabins. After pickup time, trash must be taken to the dumpster. Tent campers must use the dumpster.

We recycle – Green bins are provided for each campsite and will be collected after your stay. Items for recycling are: Aluminum and metal cans, cardboard, magazines, newspaper, brown bags and number 1 and 2 plastic such as water bottles and milk jugs. Please, no glass, plastic bags, Styrofoam or wax-coated cardboard. If your bin needs to be emptied before you leave, please contact the office.

WiFi is available to the upper part of the campground (RV and rental sites) although the signal may at times be blocked by large RVs or foliage. We currently subscribe to the fastest service available from Frontier to our area. It is designed to allow you to use social media, check e-mail and browse the web. This free service is not designed to allow gaming, video streaming or other high-bandwidth activities.

River trips are a great way to spend the day and safety is paramount. Type III PFDs (life jackets) are provided with your rental and shall be worn at all times while on the water. Parents of children under the age of 18 are responsible for their use. Everyone must fill out a waiver before departing the campground – no exceptions. We reserve the right to cancel trips at our discretion due to weather or river conditions. We also reserve the right to refuse river service to anyone who appears intoxicated or who we believe is unable to handle our rental crafts in a safe fashion. You are responsible for negligent loss or damage to our equipment.

Please come and enjoy our campground, the river and our part of West Virginia, but understand that the Greenbrier River Campground is privately held and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Those using our facilities do so at their own risk. We assume no responsibility for damage to or loss of personal property while on the property. Refusal to abide by campground policy is grounds for eviction without refund of fees.
