Pets are allowed, but certain breed restrictions apply. Call the office for details. We reserve the right to ask guests to leave if your pet behaves in an aggressive manner. Pets must be leashed at all times. Pet owners shall clean up after pets and insure they do not disturb other guests. If you leave the grounds for any length of time and leave pets behind, they must be secured inside your rig. Pets must be registered in advance. Pet waste must be bagged and placed inside household garbage bags for pickup or taken to the dumpster. We follow federal guidelines for guests requiring service animals. Additional information available at check-in.

Children under twelve shall be accompanied by an adult at all times, especially while enjoying the river. No bike riding after dark.

Quiet time is 11 PM through 8 AM each day.

Alcoholic beverages are allowed at your site. West Virginia legal age is 21. Be responsible and respectful or be gone. Use of illegal drugs is not allowed.

Open carry of firearms is prohibited on the grounds.

Fires are allowed at the sites. Fire rings are provided and no fires are allowed other than in the rings. Wood is available for purchase through the office. Due to WV regulations regarding invasive insects, if you choose to bring wood it must be from a local source and burned completely before you leave. Learn more at dontmovefirewood.org.

Do not cut, tie, nail or drive screw eyes into our trees for any reason. If you feel a limb interferes with your setup, contact the office.

Bagged trash is picked up daily at RV sites and cabins. After pickup time, trash must be taken to the dumpster. Tent campers must use the dumpster.

We recycle – Green bins are provided for each campsite and will be collected after your stay. Items for recycling are: Aluminum and metal cans, cardboard, magazines, newspaper, brown bags and number 1 and 2 plastic such as water bottles and milk jugs. Please, no glass, plastic bags, Styrofoam or wax-coated cardboard. If your bin needs to be emptied before you leave, please contact the office.

WiFi is available to the upper part of the campground (RV and rental sites) although the signal may at times be blocked by large RVs or foliage. We currently subscribe to the fastest service available from Frontier to our area. It is designed to allow you to use social media, check e-mail and browse the web. This free service is not designed to allow gaming, video streaming or other high-bandwidth activities.

River trips are a great way to spend the day and safety is paramount. Type III PFDs (life jackets) are provided with your rental and shall be worn at all times while on the water. Parents of children under the age of 18 are responsible for their use. Everyone must fill out a waiver before departing the campground – no exceptions. We reserve the right to cancel trips at our discretion due to weather or river conditions. We also reserve the right to refuse river service to anyone who appears intoxicated or who we believe is unable to handle our rental crafts in a safe fashion. You are responsible for negligent loss or damage to our equipment.

Please come and enjoy our campground, the river and our part of West Virginia, but understand that the Greenbrier River Campground is privately held and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Those using our facilities do so at their own risk. We assume no responsibility for damage to or loss of personal property while on the property. Refusal to abide by campground policy is grounds for eviction without refund of fees.
