Rules & regulations

The Gather Campground team cares deeply about curating safe, clean, and enjoyable spaces for all of our guests. The following rules and regulations are designed to create an environment that promotes these values and we expect all guests to take part in promoting that environment.

Non-Negotiable Behavior:

The Gather Campground team will not allow any of the following behavior present at our property. Any use of the following behavior will result in immediate dismissal, with no refund.

Inappropriate display of or use of a firearm, weapon, or form of explosive

The use of explicit hate speech

Verbal or physical assault

Vandalism of Gather Campground property

Vandalism of another guest’s property

Any aggressive dog that is left unattended and/or hurts a person or other animal on-site

At Your RV Site:

Birds: All birds must be kept in a cage.

Buildings: Guests may not erect any sort of built structures at your site. Sheds are not permitted.

Cats: No cats are allowed outside at Gather Campground. All cats must remain inside your RV.

Condition of RV: Guests acknowledge and agree that their RV is in good working condition, such that the electrical infrastructure is up to code, sewer and water system is functioning properly and not leaking any waste (black or gray) or freshwater. Guests agree that there is no rust on the exterior of their RV. Guest must maintain fully inflated tires at all times.

Dog Fences or Pens: No dog fences are allowed, at individual campsites nor anywhere at the campground.

Dogs: No dogs may be unattended anywhere on-site, except inside User’s RV. Guests may keep their dog on a leash outside their RV if they are accompanying the animal. Guests are responsible for cleaning up all of their dog’s poop and disposing of it in one of the several dog stations around the park. If guests are seen not cleaning up their dog poop the guest will be charged a $100 fine, per occurrence. Do not throw dog poop bags in exterior or interior trash cans. Dog poop bags only go in the dog station bins. Each site includes two dogs in their stay. Additional dogs, past two, incurs an additional monthly fee.

Electric Plug-ins: Only one input into each electrical outlet. NO splitters are allowed. Guests must use an RV electricity surge protector when connecting their RV to Gather Campground electrical pedestals. Gather Campground is not liable for any issue caused to your RV related to electricity.

Electricity: Guests who stay fewer than 28 days have their electricity included in the price of their stay, unless they are charging an EV vehicle

EV Vehicle Charging: Guests may charge their EV vehicle at their RV site, and they will be individually charged for all the electricity they use at their site during the duration of your stay, regardless of the duration of that stay.

Fires: Any and all wood burning fires must be done inside a Campground provided fire ring at guest’s Deluxe site. If the guest’s RV site does not include a Gather Campground fire ring, the guest may not have wood-burning fire at their site. Guests may use a personal fire pit or grill that runs on propane. Any propane-related equipment and tanks must be in good working conditions, with no leaks, rust, or other issues. No burning of trash is permitted in any fire pit, or in any location on site.

Food: No food items are to be left out at guest’s campsite overnight, unless securely locked in a cooler. All food items must be cleared off tables at the end of each night.

Furniture: Guests are encouraged to enjoy the furniture at the site that is provided by Campground. Guests are welcome to temporarily put out and use their own furniture for the duration of their stay. Furniture may in no way be secured to the ground or to Campground furniture. Furniture must be kept clean, and in good working condition.

Flags: Guests are welcome to fly a flag of the USA, US State, or University flag at your RV site. Guests will be asked to remove any flag that does not comply with these three categories.

Generators: No generators are permitted at Campground without written permission by the Campground management.

Grills / Smokers: Guests are welcome to use their own grill or smoker at their RV site. Grills and smokers must be placed on concrete, not on the grass or picnic tables. Please be mindful of smoke that may be bothering other guests. If a guest is using their own grill / smoker, please allow coals / ash to fully distinguish, and then bag cooled coals / ash with the rest of the trash for a Campground team member to pick up. All coals and ash must be disposed of properly in trash bags. Do not dump coals, ash, or any other debris at or around any RV site.

Guests: Each campsite is limited to six overnight guests total, including children. Each site is limited to four adult (over 18) guests. Guests are welcome to invite family and friends to join them to enjoy time at your campsite during the day, only. Guests are responsible for the behavior of their guests. A Campground team member may ask guest’s guest(s) to leave at any time for not following any of our policies.

Hot Tubs / Pools: Guests may not put up their own hot tub or portable pool at their RV site.

Lawn: Please enjoy the green space at your RV site and treat it as a resource that other guests who come after will also want to enjoy. No digging, staking, or destroying the grass is permitted. No items may be left on the grass for more than 24 hrs. No driving on any lawn or grassy area.

Lights: Guests are welcome to hang string lights up at their campsite. Guests may NOT attach any lights to any trees, electric pedestals (except for electricity use in a proper port), internet towers, or any other Gather Campground structures. Spotlights are permitted as long as they are not shining on other RVs or RV sites.

Music: Guests are welcome to enjoy music at their campsite. No explicit content can be audible to other guests. Please be respectful of neighbors. Quiet hours, when music must be turned down to a volume that cannot be heard inside neighboring RVs, is 10pm to 8am. If music is disturbing other guests, guest may be asked to turn it down regardless of the time of day.

Parking: Each guest is welcome to keep up to one RV and two vehicles at their site (one vehicle can be a boat or UTV/ATV). No additional vehicles are permitted without written permission by Campground management. Additional vehicles may require additional fees. All vehicles must be parked fully on concrete. Vehicles may not be parked on the picnic patio area. No part of any vehicle may extend over any asphalt roadway. No parking on any grass at any time.

Plants: Guests may keep potted plants at their RV site. All plants must be kept off grass. Guests may not plant anything in the grass. Any dead / dried up plants must be removed.

Propane: No propane storage in excess of 50 gallons is permitted at your RV site.

Sewer: All sewer hoses must be fully inserted into the sewer ports. When finished using the sewer service, ensure that the sewer cap is screwed into the sewer port casing. All waste water (gray or black) must be drained into the RV Site sewer port. No disposing of any solid trash in the sewer ports. Food, feminine products, and disposable wipes all must be disposed of via our trash service. Please inform Campground if a sewer port is seen without a cap. If guest’s sewer hose is leaking in any way they will be required to replace the sewer hose. No dumping of any kind on the ground.

Site Location: Guests who are staying for fewer than a 30-day stay may pay a site lock fee to reserve a specific site. Any guest whose stay lasts longer than 30 days may be required to move to a different RV site (given twenty-four (24) hours notice).

Storage: Guests may not store any items underneath or on top of their RV.

Tents: No tent camping is allowed at your RV site, nor anywhere at Gather Campground. Guests are welcome to put up a shade or bug repellent tent at their site for temporary use (no more than 7 days continuous). Structures must be self-supporting, and may not be installed on grass.

Trash: Gather Campground provides trash concierge service. Guests are responsible for placing their daily trash bag(s) out at the front of their campsite (on the concrete) each morning by 8:00 am so the Campground team can pick them up for disposal. Guests may not place their trash bags out the night before pick-up. Please securely bag all trash placed for daily pick up. No loose trash is permitted at campsites at any time. Do not place any trash bags in public / community trash bins inside or outside of Campground buildings. If guests trash leaks on the ground from a bag that is not sealed properly, the guest is required to clean the the trash and any mess that the leaky trash bag created.

Trailers: Guests are welcome to have a boat, utility, work, or livestock trailer at their site for no more than fourteen (14) consecutive days. The trailer must be parked within the concrete perimeter of your campsite. No part of your trailer may overhang the roadway. No part of the trailer may be parked on the grass. Inquire with Campground management for potential availability of separate long term trailer storage.

Video Surveillance: For guest’s privacy, there is no video surveillance of individual RV sites at Campground. Please secure all valuables, especially overnight. Gather Campground is not liable for theft, loss, or damage of any guest property.

Washing: Guests may not use the water spigot at their campsite to wash their RV or any vehicles at their campsite. No commercial or industrial cleaning or waste disposal is permitted.

Water: Guests must use a pressure regulator when connecting their RV to the water spigot at their RV site. Campground is not liable for any plumbing damages caused to User’s RV due to water pressure or any other water related issue. Ensure that the Campground water port is closed upon departure. If there is a leak at the water spigot, please make the Gather Campground aware ASAP.

Clubhouse & Pool House:

Gather Campground buildings are monitored 24 hours per day by security surveillance

Animals: No animals are permitted inside any Campground buildings unless it is a certified service animal with proper identification. No animals are allowed on any furniture inside or outside Campground buildings. All animals must be kept on a leash at all times

Bathrooms: Campground bathrooms are open for your use 24 hours per day (hours subject to change at any time). Please treat bathrooms kindly and know that other guests will be coming afterwards and hope to enjoy a clean bathroom as well. Please do not put anything down the toilet except bodily waste and toilet paper. Please use the bathroom’s trash can for any other waste.

Deliveries: Guests may not receive deliveries at their RV site. If a guest is receiving a delivery, like DoorDash, it must be received at either the Clubhouse or Pool House.

Firearms: Campground follows Texas penal code 30.07, which states no open carry firearms on premise, even by license holders. Gather Campground follows Texas penal code 30.05, which states no concealed carry of firearms on premise unless by License to Carry (LTC) permit holders.

Furniture: The furniture in the Clubhouse and Pool house are for guest’s enjoyment and only for use in these spaces. Do not remove or relocate interior or exterior furniture.

Gym: The gym is open 24 hours per day for guest’s use (hours subject to change at any time). No children under 16 are allowed in the gym unaccompanied. Rack all weight equipment and stop all aerobic equipment after use. Wipe down all exercise equipment with disinfectant spray after each use.

Hours of Operation: All facilities hours of operation will be clearly posted on site at Campground. Facility hours of operation are subject to change without notice.

Laundry: Guests are welcome to use the laundry equipment 24 hours per day (hours subject to change at any time). All laundry machines are accessible via the Maytag app. No coins or cash accepted. Guests may purchase laundry detergent in the Clubhouse (south building) laundry room.

Mail / Packages: Campground does not accept any regular USPS mail service. Any standard USPS mail will be returned to the sender. Guests may have a package sent to you at Gather Campground, where it will be received in our Camp Store and stored for pick-up during normal business hours. Gather Campground is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged packages.

Parties / Rallies (Informal): Guests are welcome to gather informally inside and outside Campground buildings. Guests are responsible for cleaning up the space they and their guests utilized. Please be aware, all Campground amenity spaces are typically open to all guests, except when reserved for a private event. Guests may not exclude other guests from accessing amenity spaces unless they have previously reserved the space with Campground management approval.

Parties / Rallies (Formal): Certain amenity spaces at Gather Campground are available for reservation to host groups of guests. Reservation of amenity spaces are subject to availability. We do not guarantee private gathering availability without prior written approval. Please be aware, as a guest of Campground, you may temporarily not have access to specific amenity spaces due to formal private gatherings.

Pool: The pool is open daily from 7am to 10pm (hours subject to change at any time). Use of the Gather Campground pool is strictly at guests' own risk. All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. No glass is allowed in the pool area. No eating is allowed in the pool. There is no lifeguard on site.

Refrigerator / Freezer: To prevent loss, we recommend that guests label any items placed in the combo refrigerator / freezer in the Lounge of the Clubhouse. This unit is emptied daily, and is not to be used for long term storage.

TV: Guests are welcome to enjoy the TVs inside the Clubhouse or Pool House. Please contact a Campground team member for instructions.

Video Surveillance: Please be aware that the amenity areas (both interior and exterior) of Gather Campground are under video surveillance 24/7. Campground is not liable for theft, loss or damage of any guest property.

Playground:

Accompanied: No children are allowed in the playground unaccompanied.

Animals: No animals are allowed in the playground area except certified service animals with proper identification. Service animals must be kept on a leash at all times. If a service animal poops in the playground area User is required to pick it up and dispose of it properly. No animals on any furniture.

Climbing: No climbing trees, railings, or fences.

Glass: No glass containers are allowed inside the children’s playground area.

Shoes: Shoes must be worn at all times.

Playground Equipment: All playground equipment and play items must be kept inside the playground area. Please do not move any playground equipment.

General / Property-Wide Policies:

Accidents: THE OWNERSHIP / MANAGEMENT ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ACCIDENTS, INJURIES OR LOSS FROM ANY CAUSE.

Community Fire Pit: Guests are welcome to use the community fire pit on the main lawn. Do not throw any trash, cans, glass bottles, or food into the fire pit. Do not remove any chairs or furniture from around the fire pit. If guests need more seating around the fire pit they are welcome to bring their own chair.

Clothing: Guests, and all guests, are required to wear a shirt, shoes, and shorts (or an equivalent) in all areas of the property unless at the pool. Proper swimming attire that covers all private areas is required when using the pool.

Dogs: Two dogs are included in the RV site fee. Additional dogs will incur an additional dog fee.

Aggressive Dogs: If a guest’s dog is seen to be aggressive and/or creating a nuisance or unease for other guests, a Campground team member may ask the guest to keep their dog inside their RV. Non-compliance may result in the termination of the guest’s stay without refund.

On-Leash: All dogs must be on-leash at all times at Gather Campground unless they are inside a designated dog park.

Washing: Guests are welcome to use the dog washing station at their convenience. Otherwise, guests may wash their dog inside your RV. Guests may not otherwise wash their dog outside of their RV, or in any of the bathrooms.

Waste: Guests are responsible for picking up all dog poop and placing them in one of the seven dog stations around the property.

Emergency: If guests have a medical, fire, or domestic emergency please call 911. If there is a water leak or emergency issue with one of the buildings (ex. a toilet overflowing) please call 254-236-2866, or inform an on-site Campground team member ASAP.

Fireworks: Guests may NOT use any fireworks on Gather Campground property.

Front Gate: The front gate will remain closed between 6pm and 8am. There may be times when the gate is open outside of these specified hours (ex events, during times of repair etc). Guests will be given a unique access code to enter through the front property gate. When exiting Gather Campground, when the gate is closed, approach the gate slowly and it will open automatically. All vehicles entering and exiting the property are recorded on video. If a guest hits and damages the gate, the guest will be charged to repair it.

Language: We do not permit hate speech or vulgar language at Gather Campground.

Livestock: No livestock animals are allowed on the Gather Campground property. This includes: chickens or other poultry, goats, sheep, pigs, cows, or horses.

Motorized Vehicles: Guests may use golf carts, UTVs/ATVs, electric scooters, and other motorized vehicles on Campground roads as long as the guest is moving under the posted speed limit of 5 miles per hour. All vehicles must be stored overnight at the guest’s RV site, not in Campground parking spaces. Golf carts, UTVs, ATVs, etc may only be parked on pavement, in designated parking spaces, or at RV site. No motorized vehicles are permitted on grass, gravel, or any landscaped area at any time.

Smoking: Guests may ONLY smoke at their designated RV site or inside their RV. No smoking in streets, common areas, inside or outside of buildings, or anywhere else at Gather Campground other than at the guest’s designated RV Site. Guests are responsible for properly disposing of all distinguished cigarette butts in their trash for daily pick-up. Any guest who is seen smoking anywhere other than at their RV site and/or seen throwing their cigarette butts on the ground will be fined $100, per occurrence.

Speed Limit: All vehicles must comply with the maximum speed limit of 5 miles per hour on all roadways throughout Campground.
