The Everglades is a place well known for its extreme weather and its stinging, biting and wild nature. Summer will have the highest levels of insect activity. One of the largest missions of the National Park Service is to preserve the Everglades in its natural state. Even as uncomfortable as it may be refunds for early departures will not be granted for any of these naturally occurring challenges.
