The King and Queen cordially welcome you to the Fields of New Market campground for the public. Their 200-acre facility is a picturesque meadow that offers first class accommodations for campers of all types—from tents and glamping to RV and trailer enthusiasts. They are open for nine weekends through October and November, which overlap with the Texas Renaissance Festival. Enjoy bonfires, live music, nightly performances, and food trucks, all within walking distance to the festival. Gather your family, friends, clan, or club and join them for a one-of-a-kind camping experience!

Booking Details
RV Rental
RV includes a standard RV beds (bunk beds, a pull-out couch, etc.). Please bring your own towels, bathroom & kitchen necessities. Linens included. A $300.00 refundable deposit is charged at the time of booking and will be refunded after departure if left with no damages or cleaning necessary.

Welcome to The Bard Retreat! Cast your worries aside and enjoy air conditioning while still enjoying all the perks of camping! Each camping comes with air/heat, port-a-can and a queen sized bed and linens. Bard's Retreat sleeps 2-3 people comfortably. Each cabin comes with a queen size bed and linens for sleeping.

Policies
Cancellations made less then 14 days will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in, will not be able to be refunded. If you do not show up for your reservation, or decide to leave early, a refund request will be denied.
#1 RULE
Please be considerate of others. Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated.
CAMP PASS HANG TAG
All vehicles entering into and staying within The Fields Of New Market Campgrounds shall have a valid Camp Pass hangtag not included in the purchase of your reservation. Camp Pass hang tag can be purchased separately at the campground gates or online at the time you make your reservation or at the gates for $35.
FESTIVAL TICKET
All Campground Patrons MUST have a valid Festival Ticket or Season Pass for at least one day of the camping weekend. This will be verified at the gate upon entry for each person.
FESTIVAL PARKING
Vehicles left in Festival General Parking after 11 p.m. are subject to towing at owner expense. If you will be staying later than 11 p.m. you may purchase an Overnight Parking pass at the Information Booth at the Festival before 9 a.m.
Thanksgiving Weekend Hours
Open from 12 p.m. Wednesday to 12 p.m. Monday.
CAMPING GATES
Entrance gates are staffed 24 hours a day during open hours.
MINORS
Children 16 years old or younger MUST be accompanied by parent.
QUIET HOURS
Family Camping Area - 10 p.m. - 6 a.m.
Main Camping Area - 12 a.m. - 6 a.m.
FIRES
No open flames allowed on the ground.
Do not dump coals, embers, or any fire remains in trash bins/dumpsters.
All fires must be kept in enclosed, off the ground containers, such as above ground fire pits, BBQ pits, metal barrels, chimineas, or liquid fueled heating.
PETS
Only ADA recognized service animals permitted, NO EXCEPTIONS.
WASTE
All Campsites are required to be kept neat, clean, and free of debris - Trash bins are located throughout the camp.
WEAPONS
Firearms, concealed or otherwise, are NOT allowed.
Swords, rapiers, knives, edged or pointed, and other period/themed weapons must be sheathed, and peace tied using leather straps or zip ties at ALL times.
STRICTLY PROHIBITED
Illegal Drugs, Alcohol Abuse, Fireworks, Chinese Sky Lanterns, Laser Pointers, Drones, Golf Carts, ATVs, UTVs, Dirt Bike are NOT allowed.
VIOLATIONS
A violation of any rules or policies will result in removal without refund from the property at the Management or Security Personnel's discretion. Management has final authority in all matters. TRF is privately owned and operated.
