Elkamp Eastcreek (formerly Eastcreek Campground) is a short drive from Seattle Washington or Portland Oregon and the perfect home base for your next Western Cascade getaway. Their park-like grounds are nestled among a cathedral of trees at the foot of Mt. Rainier. Conveniently located just a 15-minute drive to the Nisqually Gate of the Mt. Rainier National Park, this entrance to the National Park is the only park gate remaining open year-round, assuring you'll find plenty to do regardless of the season. At Elkamp - Eastcreek, it is their mission to see that your time is spent relaxing, renewing, and reconnecting with nature. To accomplish this, they've done their best to assure that all of the RV and tent spaces are well maintained and spacious. All sites include a picnic table and a fire ring ideal for cooking, intimate fireside storytelling, and warmth during those chilly mornings and evenings.

For a refund on INDIVIDUAL RESERVATIONS of two campsites or less, you must cancel 14 days prior to your reservation arrival date. With a 14 day cancellation notice or more a refund will be issued to your credit card, minus a 10% processing fee per campsite. A three day non-refundable deposit is required for all holiday weekends . 

No refund will be given for cancellations made 13 days or fewer prior to your arrival date.

Please Note, we cannot take responsibility for inclement weather. We cannot make exceptions for cancellations due to cold, rain, fog, fires, smoke or burn-bans. We Recommend checking the weather before your trip and packing appropriately.

Rules & regulations

Storm/Road Closure Policy: No refunds will be given if the party is unable to arrive at the property due to road closures. This could include, but it not limited to, storms, rockslides and fires. If all accessible roads to the property are reported closed by the appropriate governmental authorities, a rain-check will be issued to be used within one calendar year (365 days) of the scheduled arrival date. 

Daily rates: Rates are based upon 4 persons per site and a max. of 6. Additional persons above 4 will be charged $5.00 per person per day. 

One tow/towed vehicle in addition to your RV is allowed per RV site and one vehicle is allowed per tent site.

RV Site $60.00 - $55.00 per night - RV fees include sewer or dump charges, water, and electricity. 

Tent Site $35.00 per night - Tent camping includes nearby water and use of restroom facilities.

Check-In:

Check-In is after 1:00PM on the day of arrival. All guests must register at the Barn. Early check-in will not be granted as we do not have an early arrival waiting area, so please plan appropriately. We expect all guests to arrive before 8:00PM.

Check-Out:

Check-out is 11:00AM on the day of departure. There is no formal check-out procedure. We ask that prior to your departure you ensure that all of your gear is packed, your fire has been fully extinguished, the picnic table is returned to its original location and the all trash and recycling is disposed of properly. If you have an outstanding balance we will charge the credit card attached to your reservation. A late departure, without management approval will result in an automatic charge of $20.00. If departure has not take place by 1:00PM the departing guest will be charged an additional daily charge for their site. 

Site Changes: You will be assigned a specific site, please check with the office if you would like to move. Due to reservations and maintenance moving may not be possible.

Speed Limit: Safety and dust are the reason for the maximum speed limit of 10 MPH. Please follow directional signs. 

Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10:00PM - 8:00AM and exist for the enjoyment of all guests. We do not allow amplified music of any kind at any time of day - this includes small portable speakers. Please be courteous to your neighbors. Any guests exhibiting unacceptable behavior will be subject to eviction of not only themselves, but their entire party - no warnings - no refund. 

Storage:

Storage (boxes, bins, cabinets or containers) are not allowed under or around your RV or picnic table.

Vehicles: We allow for one vehicle parking space per tent site. and one tow/towed vehicle per RV site. One additional vehicle/trailer per site may be accommodated. Requests for additional vehicles must be made at time of reservation. Additional vehicles arriving on the day of check in without prior notification will be charged a daily rate of $30.00. There are no electric vehicle charging stations at our property. No washing or rinsing of your vehicles at any time. 

Registered guest additional motorcycle $2.00 per day

Registered guest additional automobile $5.00 per day

Registered guest additional trailer/boat $8.00 per day

Additional vehicle/trailer/boat without prior notification $30.00 per day

Kids: Parents are responsible for their children's safety and behavior. Please supervise small children in showers and restrooms. Please do not allow children to play in the roadway. Children are not allowed to be unsupervised at any time. Please do not let children walk through other guest campsites. Please accompany your children on the loop trail. Children should be in their site at dusk and never allowed to roam the forest alone. 

Pets: We welcome well behaved pets to the campground. The pet fee is $3.00 per night per pet up to three (3) pets per reservation. We count on you to prevent your pet from making excessive noise (barking/whining) or being disruptive or aggressive toward other guests or their pets. If your pet is deemed dangerous, harmful of disruptive, we have the sole discretion to require you to find other accommodations. We also reserve the right to contact animal control to have a pet removed. If property damages are incurred as a result of your pets actions, We may charge for additional services and repairs. Pets must be kept on a hand-held leash at all times and may not be left unattended at your campsite, inside your auto or RV. Pets may not be tethered to utility fixtures, trees, picnic tables or fences. Pet waste must be picked up by the pet owner. Waste bags are available in the Barn.

Visitors: You are welcome to have visitors to your site. All visitors must check-in at the barn upon arrival. There is a $10.00 visitor charge that covers up to 4 visitors and 1 vehicle per campsite, per day between the hours of 11:00AM and 8:00pm. Visitor pets are not allowed on property. Registered guests must inform us of any expected visitors. 

Restrooms & Showers: One bathhouse is available. Due to board of Health Regulations, animals and the washing of dishes is prohibited in the restrooms. Sinks for washing dishes are available behind the main bathhouse. Please be considerate of others and leave the bathhouse as you would want to find it. 

WiFi: Limited WiFi is available near our barn building. 

Campfire Rings: Each campsite comes with a campfire ring. Guests are permitted to light wood campfires in the rings and use the attached grills for cooking. Please do not use Charcoal briquettes. Fires are to be monitored at all times and extinguished completely before retiring to bed or departing the area, A water spigot and buckets for this purpose are provided in close proximity to all sites. 

Firewood: As an amenity to our guests only, wood may be purchased at the campground for $8.00 per bundle. Please do not cut limbs off of trees and do not pick up downage. Please do not burn treated lumber.

Garbage: Help us keep our property clean by depositing all garbage and recycling in the designated waste receptacles throughout the grounds. We strongly suggest throwing all food waste away prior to sunset so as to not attract animals to your site. 

After-Hours Assistance/Security: In the case of an emergency, dial 911. Give 911 your location address as being Elkamp - 184 Naugle Road, Mineral, WA 98355. Be prepared to meet authorities at the front gate of the campground to direct them to your location. After calling 911, please call our main line to inform us of your emergency. Falling Debris: Trees and the shade they provide, are an integral part of an enjoyable ELKAMP EASTCREEK experience. However, healthy and well maintained trees pose a natural hazard of falling debris, such as leaves and branches, especially during windy and/or extreme weather conditions. We do not assume responsibility for these natural hazards or for any property damage, injury or other circumstances that may result. Please take this into consideration when parking at ELKAMP. If the management feels that a campsite is unsafe we reserve the right to change the location of your accommodation to insure your safety, In the event of extreme weather conditions forecasted, management reserves the right to cancel and reschedule the reservation to a mutually agreeable date. 

Lost, Stolen or Damaged Property: ELKAMP is not responsible for loss, damage, or claims to property of guests due to fire, theft, accident or any other cause. For maximum security we ask guests to lock valuables in their car and out of site. 

Firearms and Fireworks: No firearms of any kind are allowed outside a personal camping vehicle at any time. Fireworks are not permitted in our campground. 

Smoking: If you smoke please be considerate and smoke downwind of your neighbors and please make sure that every butt from your cigarette goes into a fire ring. 

Glass Bottles: For the safety of barefoot creek walkers, we do not allow glass bottles near the creek. 

Clotheslines: Clotheslines are not permitted on our property. 

Vehicle Repairs: Repairs to RV's and vehicles are not permitted in our park. 

Drones: Drones are not permitted on our property. 

ATV’s, Dirt Bikes and Motorcycles: OHV’s (Off Highway Vehicles) are welcome onsite but may not be used within the park. They may only be used to get you to and from your site.

Air Conditioners and Generators: We do not allow air conditioners except when the temperature reaches 85 degrees or more, but we ask that they are turned off from the hours of 10:00PM - 8:00AM. Gas powered generators are not allowed at any time.
