Located only a short distance from Flattops Wilderness Area, Elk Creek Campground offers a variety of activities such as Fishing, Hiking & Sightseeing. Feeling a little more adventurous, bring your ATV or Jeep to enjoy numerous trails throughout the wilderness.

RV Site
30-60 foot sites available. We offer shady spots and amazing views near the beautiful Elk Creek from all of our RV and trailer campsites, with a variety of options to suit every need: Including both full hookup and self-contained sites, 20, 30 and 50 AMP service, both back-in and pull-through sites and riverside options. Rates include 4 occupants, 2 pets and 1 vehicle.

Cabin
These quaint log cabins sleep up to 4 people in 2 different bed configurations. Complete with electricity and a covered porch, our cabins are the perfect place to relax and listen to the creek after an adventure filled day. Deluxe and Premium cabins include private bathroom, small refrigerator and microwave. Rates include 4 people, 2 pets and 1 vehicle.

Policies
Because we are located in the Rocky Mountains, weather and road closures cannot be used as a reason for a refund.
Refunds will be processed in the same form used to make the reservation. No exceptions.
There are no refunds after check-in.
There are no refunds for early departure.
There are no refunds for change of plans, personal emergencies, illness, or ejections.
Cancellation 15 or more days prior to reserved arrival date will be charged 10% of the total reservation as a cancellation fee.
Cancellation 14 days or up to 2 days prior to reserved arrival date will be charged 50% of the total reservation as a cancellation fee.
Cancellation 2 days or less prior to reserved arrival date will be charged 100% of the total reservation as a cancellation fee.
No Shows will result in being liable for full payment.

General Store Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Sun- Thu); 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM (Fri & Sat)
Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM. Please be considerate of your fellow campers. The music you enjoy and find tasteful may not be your neighbor’s favorite. Please keep the radio, stereo, TV, etc. volume low. All visitors must register at the office and are asked to leave the grounds by 10 pm.
Site Rental: Site rent is paid in advance.
Our base rate for RV Sites includes: 1 RV/trailer, 4 people, 2 pets and 1 vehicle. Additional people may be added for a fee (see below) up to 8 maximum.
Our base rate for Cabins includes: 4 people, 2 pets and 1 vehicle.
Please contract us to make arrangements for additional vehicles, available if space permits.
Extra vehicle fee $10/night

Campfires: Campfires are allowed only if fire danger levels in Garfield County permits! It is your responsibility to check fire restrictions. Campfires are permitted 8:00 AM to midnight and only in provided fire rings. Please never leave a campfire unattended. Please ensure that fire is completely out before leaving your site or going to bed.
Picnic Tables: All sites have picnic tables.
Restroom & Shower Facilities: Open 24 hours. For human use only, please no dog baths. Please look after your things, Elk Creek Campground is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
Elk Creek: Guests may access the Elk Creek which runs through the property, however, accessing the creek is done at the guests own risk. There are no lifeguards on duty and the creek is changing constantly. Elk Creek Campground, Inc and Paqarina Ranch, LLC are not responsible for guests who choose to access the creek.
Bear Country and Wildlife: YOU ARE IN BEAR COUNTRY! Please keep all trash and food secure, and do not feed the animals. Please take trash to dumpsters DAILY.
Hunting and Fishing: Fishing the creek requires licensing per the State Parks & Wildlife Department of Colorado. Hunting may be permitted during the fall season upon written permission from Elk Creek Campground management and requires all necessary licenses.
Firearms: Elk Creek Campground supports all law-abiding firearm owners and the possession of firearms in accordance with local, State and Federal law. Laws regarding firearms shall be strictly enforced.
RULES
Restrictions: No fireworks, disorderly conduct, or other methods of inhibiting the good times of others. Any person who defaces, injures, or destroys resort property or equipment or whose children, pets or guests do so, will be held liable for the full cost of damages.
Pets: Pets are welcome at the campground as long as each pet is accompanied by a 6ft leash and an owner. Please do not leave your pet outside unattended. We have a designated pet park. Please use it and kindly pick up after your pets. Pets are not allowed in the Bath House (restrooms & shower facility).
Children: We love kids but not everyone appreciates them when they are unaccompanied. Parents are responsible for their children at all times. If your child is under age 14 years old they must have a parent with them at all times. All children must be to their sites by 10:00 PM.
Smoking: Smokers, please be considerate of your fellow campers downwind and be sure to pick up your butts and put them in the garbage. Thank you for NOT smoking (of any kind) in ANY public building or within 25 feet of any building.
Firewood: To prevent the spreading of firewood-related pests, please do not bring your own firewood. We have bundles available for purchase at the Elk Creek Campground store. Gathering of wood or cutting trees (including branches) is NOT permitted in the campground or on surrounding property.
YOUR SITE
Your Site & Etiquette: Please be mindful of your neighbors and do not walk through other people’s camping sites. Remind your kids to do the same. Please stay on roads or walkways. Do not park your vehicles, bikes or ATV’s on a vacant site.
Garbage: Some unlucky person in your party will have to take the garbage to the dumpster. If you are travelling alone, it’s you. Please be sure to bag all trash (including cigarette butts) and dispose of it in the dumpsters. You are responsible for your site’s cleanliness.
Dishes: Please do not wash your dishes in the creek, bathroom sinks or showers. A dish washing station is available (seasonally) on the east side of the Bath House.
Generators: Thank you for not running a generator at any time. All campsites provide electricity at 20, 30, or 50 amp options so generators are prohibited except with permission from Elk Creek Campground management for unique circumstances.
Sewer Connection: A secure sewer connection is required at both ends of your sewer line by Colorado State Law.
Arrivals & Departures: If you’re leaving early, pack up what you can the night before so you can just unhook and go, without a lot of slamming compartment doors. If you show up after dark, try your best to keep noise and lights to a minimum.
Cabins: BBQ’ing shall always be outside the cabins. Please bring your own linens. All of our cabins are non-smoking.
