Dockweiler RV Park

RV PARK STAY LIMITS: Applies to owner/operator of the RV/camper/trailer, all occupants, and the RV/camper/trailer itself

• Maximum stay of 60 nights per calendar year.

• Maximum stay of 21 nights in a 60-night period (beginning on the date of first arrival).

RV REQUIREMENTS:

• RVs must be self-contained and carry a fire extinguisher.

• RVs, campers, and trailers must always remain on wheels.

• Size limit is 40 ft. on most sites; (17) 45-ft. sites available.

• Only approved RVs are allowed. NO EXCEPTIONS.

RESERVATIONS:

• Reservations must be paid in full when finalizing booking.

• Reservations limit of two (2) spaces per person.

CHECK-IN: Guests can check in from 1:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

• $17 early check-in fee.

• Late arrivals may check-in with security guard with proof of reservation.

• No walk-ins after 7:00 pm.

CHECK-OUT: Guests must check out by 12:00 PM.

• Must remove all RVs, trailers, passenger vehicles and personal property by noon on the permit ending date.

• Late check-out fee is $20/hour, supervisor approval required.

HOLIDAY RESERVATIONS: Three (3) night minimum stay required on all reservations that include a summer and winter seven (7) holiday period.

• A $10 additional fee per night (with a maximum of seven (7) nights) is applied to reservations made for summer holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. The fee applies to the holiday, three (3) days prior to the holiday and three (3) days after the holiday.

• Changes are not permitted to reservations that include the following summer holiday weekends: Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day.

• The only permitted changes on summer holiday reservations are adding days and changing sites, if made at least seven (7) days prior. If you need to make changes other than those permitted, the entire reservation will be cancelled. You will not be permitted to make a new reservation that includes any of the cancelled dates.

• There is a 1st night’s fee for all reservations that include the summer holidays mentioned, even if cancelled 7 days or more in advance.

• No refunds will be issued for checking out early once you have registered.

OCCUPANCY:

• A maximum of eight (8) persons allowed per RV/camping site.

• More than four persons incur an additional $3 per-person/per-night fee.

VEHICLE POLICY:

• RVs, automobiles, and motorcycles must be currently registered, in good running order and operated by a licensed driver. Issues such as flat tires, dead battery, leaks, broken windows or deemed to be in general poor condition, including exterior, may not be parked in the Park.

• All repairs, maintenance activities, fluid changes, washing/rinsing of vehicles/RVs are prohibited.

• RVs, automobiles, and motorcycles must park in designated parking areas.

• One (1) vehicle is included for each full hook-up site. All sites may purchase one (1) extra vehicle pass, availability permitting, for the beach-side parking.

• Vehicle(s) may not infringe on adjacent sites.

• The speed limit is 5 m.p.h.

• All signs posted notices and directions from the RV Park Staff must be obeyed. Noncompliance may result in immediate loss of parking privileges.

PARKING:

• RVs, camping vehicles and trailers must be parked head in/or head out only. No sideways parking (perpendicular to the campsite).

• Motorhomes must back into trailer sites. No door-to-door parking, no exceptions. No trailers allowed in motorhome sites, no exceptions.

• (1) One vehicle permitted per campsite beside RV or trailer. Vehicle may not park in RV campsite without the RV/camper/trailer present.

• Parking permit with departure date must always be displayed on windshield of vehicles.

• Vehicles not displaying a valid permit issued by the RV Park office may receive a parking citation.

• Do not issue the gate code to anyone. Only vehicles with a valid permit are allowed entrance.

• Vehicles must park behind designated white line. Parking over the line may result in a parking citation.

• No VISITOR or GUEST parking inside the RV Park. Guests may park in beach parking lot. Overnight parking passes available for purchase from RV Park office during business hours only. 1 extra vehicle per campsite, availability permitting.

MOTORCYCLES:

• Up to two complimentary motorcycles per site.

• Motorcycle(s) must be registered in the RV Park office.

RECREATION EQUIPMENT: All recreation equipment must be used with extreme caution in the park, including bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and all electric recreational equipment.

• PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Everyone under 18 years of age should wear a helmet (anyone under 18 is the responsibility of the parents).

• Use extreme caution when using the RV Park access road due to vehicle and RV traffic.

TOW TRUCKS PROHIBITED: Only tow trucks registered to the owner of the trailer and used as the mode of movement for the trailer are allowed.

PETS: Limit two (2) pets per site.

• Proof of rabies inoculation and a valid license are required for all dogs (53.24 LAMC).

• Aggressive dogs will be removed and banned from the park.

• Pets must always be contained or restrained on a leash of lessthan 6 feet (53.06.2 LAMC).

• Pets may not be left unattended outdoors at any time (53.34 LAMC).

• Continuous barking is not permitted.

• Droppings and accidental waste material from pets must be removed immediately and placed in trash dumpster. Please use provided dog runs.

• All animals are prohibited on the beach. (53.55 (a) LAMC)

QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am daily

• Ensure that speakers, radios, televisions, etc. or other machinery do not emit sound beyond your space (41.57A(1) LAMC).

• Rowdiness, loud music, abusive language, drunkenness, and possession or use of drugs will not be tolerated at any time.

• Campers may be asked to leave the park and suspended from camping at Dockweiler for 3-months, 1-year or indefinitely.

CLUTTER: Guests must always keep their site clean and free from clutter. All property must be in the confines of assigned space. Parking on access road prohibited.

SANITATION: Waste/sewage, water, or effluent from sinks, portable toilets or other plumbing fixtures must be deposited in dumping facility only and may not be deposited directly on any pavement, dirt or vegetation. Please contact the front office immediately for any sewage spills. Improper management of spills may incur, but not limited to, cleaning fees or ban from the park.

FIRE SAFETY:

• Fires must be contained in covered fire pits and be at least one (1) foot off the ground.

• Do not use the BBQs for open fires.

• Let coals extinguish themselves in barbeque. Do not remove.

• DO NOT place personal BBQ’s or hot items on tables or benches.

CODE OF CONDUCT:

• All federal, state, and local laws must always be obeyed.

• Registered guests and all other users of this property are liable for all property damages.

• The consumption of alcoholic beverages is not allowed on the beach.

• Absolutely no firearms, fireworks, explosives, or weapons of any kind are permitted within any RV, vehicle of any kind, or on the person of any guest (12031 (a) PC).

• Youths under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian.

• Overnight outdoor sleeping is NOT permitted. All tents/shades/awnings must have three (3) open sides (63.441(9) LAMC).

COUNTY PROPERTY:

• Damaging rope, wire or string may not be attached to trees, vegetation, poles or County property at any time.

• Hammocks may not be suspended from trees or other county property at any time.

LIABILITY:

• The County of Los Angeles and the RV Park management assume no responsibility or liability for the safety and security of campers/visitors and their personal property.

• Registered guests and all other users of this property are liable for all property damage and injuries resulting from their negligence or intentional acts.

RESERVATION OF RIGHTS:

• Management reserves the right to make changes deemed necessary in these regulations.

• Management reserves the right to refuse services to current and returning guests that have violated the rules and regulations and/or have vacated the park without paying all fees.

Occupants and their vehicles may be removed without a judicial hearing by law enforcement officers upon 72 hours written notice for failure to pay full amount of space rental when due or for failure to comply with the written rules and regulations of the Park (customer will be refunded the remaining unused nights, if the customer is asked to leave after 5 pm, that night won’t be refunded).
