Early Check-in Requests: We do our best to accommodate requests for an early check-in time but will not know if it is available until the day of your arrival. Guests are required to depart by 11:00 AM and then the chalet will need to be cleaned and any maintenance will need to be done. Please call the office at 719-539-6953 on the day of your arrival after 12:00 PM to get an update if the unit will be available any earlier than the scheduled 4:00 PM arrival time. Please do not show up early without communicating with the office.

Occupancy: We are very serious about maintaining a family atmosphere for the quiet enjoyment of all guests. We will rent to family groups, married couples and responsible adults over the age of 21. The total number of persons allowed in the property at any time is restricted to the number stated on your confirmation. If you have more guests staying in the unit than the maximum occupancy allowed for the unit, there will be a $150 fee per guest, per day. Absolutely no house parties allowed. This includes weddings, wedding parties and receptions unless specifically approved by management. Any reservation obtained under false pretense may be subject to eviction and loss of rent.

Parking: Each chalet has two designated parking spots near the parking sign for the chalet. There is additional parking for sport utility trailers and additional vehicles in the Overflow Parking area. Please let management know at time of reservation so that we may accommodate your specific needs.

Housekeeping & Sundry Items: Your chalet will be cleaned and prepared with fresh towels and linens prior to your arrival and will be cleaned upon your departure. You will be responsible for the cleaning during your stay and for leaving the property in good condition at check-out. Please do not rearrange furniture or relocate audio / video cords or equipment. If your property (including Hot Tub) is found abnormally dirty at check-out, additional fees will be charged to your credit card to assist in performing a deep cleaning of the property at a rate of $50 per hour. Your property should have plenty of initial supplies of shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, lotion, trash liners, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters, hand and dish soap, towels etc. These sundries and linens are not replaced during your stay. There is no need to purchase bottled water for your vacation, please bring a reusable water bottle as the well water at the property is delicious. The chalets have a standard Mr. Coffee Pot and coffee filters are provided but not coffee grounds. If you plan to grill while at the chalets, there are charcoal grills out front but charcoal and lighter fluid are not provided. The chalets do not have any oil or spices in the kitchens, so if you plan to cook, please plan accordingly. The pantries are fully equipped with pots, pans, grilling utensils, casserole dishes, a crockpot, a toaster, a blender, steak knives, cutting boards, plates, bowls, and cooking and eating utensils.

Departure Responsibilities: Please take your garbage out to the green dumpster that is located near the entrance of the property. Leave only clean dishes, pots & pans in the kitchen and pantry. Ventilate rooms (not during the winter months) by leaving the windows open and the fans on. Place all used towels, washcloths, hand towels, pillowcases, fitted sheets, and flat sheets in the red laundry bag that is provided. The dish rag towels with a green strip can be placed on top of the red bag, as those are kept separate by Alsco Linen Service. Please leave the duvet cover on the bed comforter as well as the zippered pillow encasements on the pillows, those items are serviced by our housekeeping operation. It is very important to wash your hands thoroughly & avoid touching your face after cleaning. Please let us know of any damage or maintenance needs. Thank you very much for your help!

No Smoking & Pets Policy: Smoking is NOT permitted indoors of any chalet. Pets are allowed with prior notice and a $30 pet fee per dog, per stay, max 2 dogs per chalet, please read the pet policy and waiver for additional information. If you bring any additional pets without prior authorization, a $100 daily fine per animal will be charged. Guests who violate either of these policies will be charged an additional $1,000, plus the expense of any necessary cleaning. Violations may also result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent.

WiFi & Phones: The WiFi connection provides a basic internet service with limited access to stream music & movies. The WiFi instructions are provided in the chalet. Verizon cell service works well at the property but Sprint, AT&T and other carriers do not have great reception at the resort. Please activate your WiFi Calling on your cell phone for optimal reception. There is a telephone located on the kiosk at the entrance of the property for free long distance, local calls or for emergencies.

Hot Tub & Fireplace Waiver: You and those in your party recognize and acknowledge that use of a Hot Tub and/or Fireplace may result in serious injury or death and unsupervised use by children is prohibited. Use of a Hot Tub and/or Fireplace is at your own risk. Elderly persons, pregnant women, infants and anyone subject to heart disease, diabetes, low or high blood pressure, strokes, epilepsy or similar afflictions should not enter a spa alone and without consulting their physician. Never use a hot tub or fireplace while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If you are taking medication of any kind, or being treated for any illness, consult your physician prior to use. Hot Tub should be kept at a temperature less than 104 ° for personal safety. You and those in your party understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for the consequences of those risks. You further agree to waive any claim whatsoever against Agent or Property Owner for accidents or claims arising from Hot Tub and/or Fireplace use. Fire Extinguishers are provided in every chalet.

Property Rules and Regulations: No open fires. Please use the outdoor units provided for grilling and place hot ash in adjacent buckets. If you have an open fire on the property without prior authorization, you will be evicted and fined $1,000. Be aware of current fire ban status and regulations even when grilling. To ensure a peaceful stay for all our guests we ask that any music out by the hot tubs or on your deck be kept at an unobtrusive volume.

Property Access: Monarch Pass and the surrounding areas offer rugged and mountainous terrain. While we plow the parking spaces when it snows in the winter we highly recommend all-wheel drive vehicles to insure your own safety and access.

Lodging Selection: When booking multiple stays for one chalet, a known error occurs where the reservation system does not add multiple cleaning fees associated with each chalet stay. These type of reservations will be corrected and a clean fee per stay will be added to the total due. We make every effort to honor your choice of chalet; however, we reserve the right to change your reservation if the need arises due to unforeseen issues, maintenance or otherwise.

Maintenance & Damage: Please report all maintenance issues promptly by calling us. Just as might occur at your own well-maintained home, mechanical failures and other breakdowns can happen. Every effort will be made to correct the situation; however, no refunds or rate adjustments will be made for mechanical failures. Damages found upon departure will be billed and full payment for repairs will be collected via credit card.

Errors, Omissions & Liability: Every effort has been made to provide accurate and complete information in our print media and on our website; however, Agent cannot be held responsible for printing errors, omissions or recent changes. Agent is not liable for damage, loss or injury resulting from errors made by tour operators, agents or transportation companies or for loss, delay or expenses incurred due to weather, strike, road closures, flight cancellations or any other unforeseen circumstances.

General Waiver and Disclaimer: You and those in your party recognize and acknowledge that there are inherent risks of physical injury when visiting an alpine environment. These injuries include, but are not limited to, injuries associated with extreme temperatures, snow, ice, rock and uneven terrain. You and those in your party agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless the Agent and Creekside Chalets Inc. from and against all liability for any injuries sustained on the premises, resulting from any cause whatsoever, except in the case of personal injury caused by the gross negligence of the Agent or Creekside Chalets Inc. And further, that neither Agent nor is Creekside Chalets Inc. responsible for any loss or damage to your personal property caused directly or indirectly from theft, adverse weather conditions, acts of nature, power outages, mechanical failures of the property or other unforeseen circumstances.
