Cabin/Motel Policies:

Thank you for visiting Cawthon Motel, Trinidad Co. Guest agrees to pay all charges related to guest stay at our property. That includes charges for room, taxes, phone calls, damages, missing items, collection costs, or other undefined charges related to your stay. Cawthon Motel, Trinidad, Co. is specifically authorized to charge guest credit card and guest agrees to pay said charges.

THE MANAGEMENT ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ACCIDENTS, INJURIES, THEFT OR LOSS DUE TO ANY CAUSE.

You agree not to smoke in a non-smoking room. You agree to NOT have any pets in your room (at any time) . If either of these take place there will be a charge of $500.00 for smoking and $500 for a pet, in addition to the room and tax charges

MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REMOVE YOU FOR BREAKING THE RULES.

You agree that room will be occupied by no one other than yourself. You are responsible for any damages caused by you or your guests

This is a motel and is treated as such. If your payment is not made within 1 days of your due date Management has the right to take possession of your room. Monthly rentals must give a seven day notice to vacate.

All items in the room must remain intact within the room. All fixtures, appliances, electronics, remotes, linens are accounted for. Any that are missing will charged to your account. Any missing or damaged linens or towels will be charged to you and filed with the police department as being stolen. Any items destroyed will not be replaced. You may not rearrange furniture.

Rooms must be cleaned once a week. If you refuse, you may be asked to leave.

NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON!

If you have a damage deposit with us, allow up to 60 days for it to be mailed to you. Deposits may not be used in lieu of rent. If you are renting weekly or monthly you must inform the office of your intentions to stay prior to your due date. Monthlies require a minimum of one week notice to vacate.

RV Park Policies:

THE MANAGEMENT ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ACCIDENTS, INJURIES. THEFT OR LOSS DUE TO ANY CAUSE. 

MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REMOVE YOU FOR BREAKING RULES. We are a zero tolerance park. No drugs, DRAMA or other illegal activities will be tolerated. If police are ever called. Its an instant removal from the park. Children under the age of 12 must have adult supervision at all times

You agree that space will be occupied by no one other than yourself and anyone on your sign in form. If your space payment is not made within 1 day of your due date, Management has the right to remove you.

Monthly or weekly rentals must pay an additional $35 late fee plus $2.50 per day for every day your rent is late. Any payment disputes require you to bring in your receipt. Monthlies- you are required to give a 10 day notice for when you are moving out. If you are taken to court, any and all fees associated with it will be charged to you 

We expect you and your guests to be quiet and not to disturb others. You may not switch spaces unless you have previous permission. If you do, you will be required to pay current rental rates. You may not leave trash outside at anytime! We are not responsible for damages or theft to your unit.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. This includes the bathhouse.

You must clean up after your pets immediately. Pets may NOT BE tied up outdoors or crated, period. 2 pets only. Pets must be kept quiet. No aggressive animals allowed. $50 fine for failure to comply with pet policies.

You may NOT share wifi and bathhouses codes with anyone. We cannot guarantee connectivity

RVs and vehicles must be parked within your space only. Be sure to pull your rig far enough up so you can park behind or in front of it. The space next you is an rv space, not for parking (if you park there, you pay for the space). One camper per space only.

Your camper must be kept in road worthy condition.

Any damage to our equipment (frozen pipes, pulled wires ect) will be charged back to you. Electric space heaters are not permitted.

Speed limit in park is 10mph / Washing vehicles is a no no.

Do not leave trash outside your rig (this is bear country). For each instance you will be fined $50. Patio furniture is the only thing allowed outside your camper. If you are here on a monthly basis, you may NOT sublease your camper. $100 Deposit is refundable so long as there are no damages to your site, there are no violations and you leave it clean. Cash deposits are paid back right away, cc and checks can take up to 45 days.
