Booking Details

RV/Tent Site
E1-E7 are all drive-up sites with 30/20 amp hook up with water. Remember to bring your adapter for 30amp if you have a 50 amp plug. They are within a minute walk to the bathhouse. These sites DO NOT HAVE SEWER. You may dump on the way out or in, we do have a dump station alongside the river. They are designed for RV's but many tent campers use them so they can have their cars nearby. Each site comes with a fire pit and picnic table. All sites back right up to the river.
PLEASE NOTE: E1 is very close to the Camping haven.

Tent, Walk in Primitive Site
You cannot drive to the sites, it’s a very short walk across the bridge from your car. They are alongside the mountain bank and a min walk to the bathhouse.

Tent, Large Walk in Primitive Site
These are walk-in sites only just a short walk across the bridge from your car. These sites typically can hold 2 to 3 tents per site. T1 is alongside the river. T5 is on the mountain bank but you can see the river. These are a min walk to the bathhouse.

Gypsy Cabin
Stay in one of our unique gypsy cabins. A unique alternative to camping, not unlike mini wooden lodges and Hobbit houses. Our Gypsy Cabins, 8x14 feet, sleeping up to 4 people with double bunk beds, each with air-conditioning, mini fridge and are the ideal glamping solution, offering a drier and more secure substitute to tents and revolutionizing camping forever. Outside there is a BBQ grill and fire pit. This is quite a step up from tent camping but still bring everything you normally camp with, except the tent.YOU CAN NOT DRIVE TO THESE CABINS, WALK IN ONLY.

Laurel Haven Cabin
Built in 2007! A rustic cabin named Laurel Haven cabin. White pine walls with rock designed flooring. It has a large loft for storing you camping gear but it's not for sleeping. It has Mini Refrigerator, heater and a fan. This cabin sleeps 6 with a double bunk bed, a twin bunk bed, a large porch with a picnic table. Outside there is a BBQ grill and fire pit. This is quite a step up from tent camping but still bring everything you normally camp with, except the tent and don't worry about rain. YOU CAN NOT DRIVE TO THIS CABIN, WALK IN ONLY.

River Haven Cabin
This absolutely beautiful cabin is a couples getaway. Sits right on the river open your door to the lovely sounds of the water flowing down the rocks. This cabin has freshly dark stained floors and beams with white wood walls. A queen bed, refrigerators, microwave, AC and heat. With a small table and chairs inside. Outside there is a grill and a fire pit you will just need to bring your linens and everything you normally camp with. YOU CAN DRIVE UP TO THIS CABIN.

Tent drive up water/electric
These are drive-up water and electric tent sites. They are alongside the river and about a min walk to the bathhouse. You can park on your site or across from site in parking area. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table. These sites are E1-E9 they can be used for RVs or Tents. Each site is designated one tent, four people anything over that is $2 per tent $2 per person.
Note: an eight-man tent fits comfortably on a site or two four-man tents.

Tent, Drive up Primitive
W1 is a drive-up primitive tent site. Close to our Water point alongside the river, and a short walk to the bathhouse. W2 is used as an overflow site but is a drive-up primitive tent site. Camping Haven Cabin
Built in 1999! Re-modeled in 2017. A rustic cabin called camping cabin. Wood walls with designed flooring. We have electric inside, with lights, heater, refrigerator, microwave and a fan. There is a double bed bunk with a roll out trundle single bed, a porch overlooking the river. Outside there is a BBQ grill and fire pit. Bring everything you normally camp with, except the tent and don't worry about rain. You also have access to water outside cabin. YOU CAN DRIVE UP TO THIS CABIN.

Policies
Minimum of 72 hours’ notice prior to reservation date is required for a deposit refund minus 10% for service charges. Any cancellation less than 72 hours will not receive a refund of any amount.
There will be no refunds after you have checked in, for inclement weather, failure to follow the Rules & Regulations or disorderly conduct. Manager/Owner reserves the right to have discretion on all refunds.
Quiet time is 10 PM.
Check-in is 12 AM check out 11 AM.
Trash is in the big green dumpster next to the concrete bridge.
Catawba Falls are located half a mile at the end of the paved road it is a 45-minute hike.
Coffee Shop is in the camp store open Friday and Saturday 8:30 to 3.
Store hours Friday and Saturday 8:30 to 3 if you need something non-operating hours push the ring doorbell on camp store door.
Firewood $7 a bundle, Ice $2.50 a bag sold in camp store.
Bathhouse located in the central playground area.
Laundry located at the end of the bathhouse.
DO NOT FEED stray animals keep your trash bagged.
No trees, bushes, or shrubbery, to be cut, removed, defaced, damaged or injured in any way. Use only established trails on riverbank or mountain.
Be a Good Neighbor: If any of the other guests in the campground need help, extend the best of your skills.
Don’t walk through someone’s campsite.
Be a Good Samaritan: Be alert of your surroundings and protect the campground at all times.
Departure: Leave the campground as you were given.
Pets: Leash them when in a campground and pick up after them.
Privacy: Respect your neighbor’s camp space, which includes lights on your RV, car or flashlight. Don’t have them shining on your neighbor.
Waste: When using dumping stations, clean them after use. Don’t dump while your neighbors are eating. All trash must be bagged and put in the dumpster by the concrete bridge.
Burning rules: Do not burn plastic and likewise things that can create a noxious or choking odor.
Noise and Light: When it is night, minimize your singing, talking, music and other loudness levels. When moving around at night, use dim lights.
