    Canby Ferry Campground is a private 8 site full hookup campground, located along the beautiful Ohio River. Conveniently located next to the Canby Ferry public boat ramp. This campground can accommodate up to a 45' RV. All sites are concrete, have a fire ring and picnic table along with full hookup and 30/50 amp service. Sites 3-6 have full river view. The campground is a short 10 minute drive to Historic Downtown Madison where you will find local shops, restaurants, family activities such as playgrounds, basketball courts, volleyball court, hiking trails, river walk and antique shops. Downtown Madison also features multiple festivals throughout the year including court days, Regatta, Chataqua, Ribberfest, music in the park and a farmers market. Our campsite is 8 full hookup sites that can accommodate up to 45' RVs and each have a 30/50 amp service. Beautiful views of the Ohio River on sites 3 through 6. Our campground sits next to the Canby Ferry public boat ramp. Public boat ramp access next to the campground to bring your own boat, jet skis or canoe.

    • Cancelling 15 or more days prior to arrival – transaction fee $5.00 + cancellation fee $10.00 is applied. The use fees are refunded.

    • Cancelling 14 days or less prior to arrival – transaction fee $5.00 + cancellation fee $10.00 + the use fee of the first night’s stay is applied. The remainder is refunded.

    • There will be no refunds for day of cancellations.

    • No refunds given after check in.

    Rules & regulations

    • Check in between 2pm and 8pm, checkout is by 12pm.

    • Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am, no excessive music or parties allowed onsite.

    • Reservations can be made 12 months in advance.

    • There is no WiFi on site.

    • There is no public bath house on site.

    • There is no direct access to the river from the campground

    • Sites 3,4,5,6 are river view.

    • Parking for one car only, if requiring extra parking for boat, car, etc please call in advance to reserve an extra space.

    • No pull through sites, all must be backed in.

    • Canby Ferry Campground can be occupied by 6 persons per site. Adults and children under 16 are included in the base rate. Each additional person(s) will be charged $15 per person, with a maximum of 8 people per site.

    • There is a 3 night minimum on certain holiday weekends.

    • Pets are allowed, however they must remain on a leash at all times and not allowed to roam freely. All dog waste must be bagged and thrown away. There should never be dog waste thrown in the woods, down on the river bank, or left at the site. Dogs must not be a nuisance and interrupt other guests' stay by excessive barking or not following the leash rule. You will be asked to leave without a refund.

    • All sites upon departure must be free from any trash, and left the way you arrived. All trash must be removed by guests, a dumpster is provided to all reserved guests.
