Pet Restrictions

If you need to cancel your reservation, we kindly ask that you do so at least 30 days prior to your confirmed arrival date. If you cancel more than 30 days in advance, you will incur a $35 cancellation fee. However, if you need to cancel within 30 days of your confirmed arrival date, you will forfeit 50% of your deposit. We hope that this policy provides you with the flexibility you need while still allowing us to maintain our high level of service.

Please note that we do not offer refunds for unused nights in the event you choose to leave before your reserved stay is over. We appreciate your understanding of this policy.

Changing or dropping days from your original reservation must be made before your arrival day. Changes will be made based on availability. Additional rates or fees may apply.

Rules & regulations

RV Requirements:

  • Self-contained, clean, well maintained, and has a 3” sewage hookup. Sewer connections must be sealed, and the sewer line bridged.

  • RV & any other vehicle washing is prohibited.

  • Our RV sites are designed for Motorhomes, 5th Wheels, Travel Trailers, Pop up Campers, Camper Vans, and Truck Campers. Management must approve Horse Trailer RVs to be permitted in the park.

  • No tent camping in RV sites.

RV and Tent Sites:

  • The staff takes pride in keeping TX Hill Country Campground clean and attractive to guests. We ask that you keep your site clean, free of debris, garbage, and clutter.

  • A fee will be charged if your site needs to be cleaned of dog waste or trash after you depart.

  • Clotheslines are prohibited.

  • No rugs or carpets on the grass.

  • Please do NOT cut through or walk on sites other than your own.

  • Political flags are prohibited in the park. USA flags, State Flags, and Military Flags are permitted.

  • HTR TX Hill Country is a Dark Sky Community: All outside lights must be off by 10 pm.

Cabins:

  • The staff takes pride in keeping TX Hill Country Resort clean and attractive to guests. We ask that you keep your cabin area clean, free of debris, garbage, and clutter.

  • Please do NOT cut through or walk on sites other than your own.

  • Failure to return keys will result in a $35 charge to the credit card on file.

  • We DO allow up to 2 pets in the cabins.

  • Please place soiled laundry on the floor in the bathroom and clean and put dishes away prior to your departure. Your cabin is cleaned prior to your arrival and will be cleaned after your departure. Let us do the dirty work.

  • If additional linens are needed, please call our office.

  • We reserve the right to charge your card on file for any damages or excessive cleaning from your stay. If you notice any problems upon arrival, please let us know immediately to avoid any extra charges to your account.

Parking:

  • Maximum of one (1) vehicle per cabin site. Maximum of one (1) RV and one (1) vehicle per RV site. Vehicle passes should always be visible. Overflow parking is available for additional vehicles.

  • Please keep in mind that there is no parking in the street.

Occupancy:

  • RV and Tents- No more than six (6) people inclusive of visitors will be registered per RV campsite. Additional guests may be allowed for an additional fee.

  • Cabins- No more than six (6) people inclusive of visitors will be registered per large cabin. No more than four (4) people inclusive of visitors will be registered per small cabin.

Children:

  • Children under the age of 16 should always have adult supervision. After 10:00pm children under 18 years of age must return to their site, unless accompanied by their parents.

Visitor Policy:

  • It is necessary to register ALL visitors by phone, email or in person at the Front Office.

  • Visitor Passes can be obtained during office hours for $10/day per visitor.

Fire Restrictions:

  • Campfires are permitted in fire rings only. If we are on a Burn Ban, you may use propane fire pits only.

  • Campfires must not be left unattended. Fire pits, grills and other open-flame devices shall not be operated on cabin decks or picnic tables.

  • All types of fireworks are prohibited.

  • Additional fire restrictions may be imposed at any time.

Quiet Hours:

  • 10:00pm to 7:00am. Any activity that may disturb other guests is not permitted during these hours.

Alcohol/Smoking:

  • No open display of alcoholic beverages inside/outside the Front Office, laundry rooms, or bath houses.

  • Consumption of alcoholic beverages by those under age 21 is prohibited.

  • Smoking is permitted at your site only, and not permitted in or near any buildings.

Security:

  • Please display your vehicle passes issued by our front office.

  • No soliciting is allowed in the Campground.

  • Firearms or lethal weapons including pellet, airsoft, and BB guns are not permitted on the property.

  • Any person causing damage to Campground property, whether accidental or intentional, will result in the cost of repair or replacement.

Trash Disposal:

  • All trash must be removed from the site/cabin and taken to dumpsters.

  • Unacceptable items (i.e., appliances, tv, grill, mattress, furniture, dog beds, carpets, tents, etc.) are not allowed in the dumpster.

On Wheels:

  • The speed limit within the Campground is 5 mph. Vehicles may only be operated by a licensed driver. All Motor Vehicles must be in good operating condition and carry liability insurance.

  • Golf carts may only be operated by a licensed driver. A copy of the insurance must be filed at the office. The speed limit for all golf carts is 5mph. Golf carts must stay on the roads. We do not allow the operation of OHV vehicles in the park.

Swimming Pool:

  • The rules posted in the pool area are for your safety and must be observed.

  • No glass containers permitted.

  • A responsible adult must accompany children under 16 years of age.

  • There is no diving, no headfirst jumping in the pool, no running at any time.

  • There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.

River:

  • There is no lifeguard on duty at our river. Swim at your own risk.

  • A responsible adult must accompany children under 16 years of age.

Pet Policy & Agreement:

  • You may have up to two pets per site in the Campground.

  • Any dogs exhibiting aggressive behavior will not be permitted in the campground.

  • Dogs must always be leashed when outside your RV. Dogs can be off leash at your site only if in a pen.

  • All pets must have current immunizations.

  • Excessive barking is not permitted.

  • Please pick up after your pet. Bag and dispose of the waste in a dog waste container located throughout the park.

  • Pets cannot be left outside overnight. Do not leave your pets in your RV for an extended period while away. Pets outside cannot be left unattended.

LIABILITY:

Guests agree to release and forever discharge the HTR TX Hill Country insurance carriers, agents, servants, successors, and assigns, herein after the “Released Party”, from any claims, demands, actions, causes of action and liability whatsoever, in any manner arising or to arise out of, said Released Party’s decision to provide facilities and services to guests. Guests acknowledge that the Released Party in no way can guarantee that acts of vandalism, theft, fire, or other damage will not occur. Further, guests agree to specifically indemnify and hold harmless the Released Party for all injuries and personal property damage that arise at the Campground even though same may have resulted from the comparative, joint, concurring, or contributory act, omission, fault, or negligence, whether passive or active, of the Campground or any agents thereof. The Campground Management reserves the right to amend, revise and add to the Campground Policy at any time.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY ONE OR MORE OF THESE POLICIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE VISITOR AND PET POLICES MAY RESULT IN YOUR LEAVING THE CAMPGROUND WITH NO REFUND AND FUTURE RESERVATIONS BEING CANCELLED.
