Buena Vista Wildlife Safarai and RV Park

RV, CABIN, BUNKHOUSE OR TENT CHECK-IN PROCEDURE:

1) Your rental of an RV / Tent site or Cabin or Bunkhouse serves as your consent to the release listed below.

2) Print or keep a digital copy of your receipt.

3) All rental units are located at the Safari (1830 S. US Hwy 281, Evant, Texas 76525) EXCEPT the Bunkhouse. The Bunkhouse is located 1/2 mile north of the Safari on Highway 281 (1058 S. US Hwy 281, Evant, Texas 76525). To check-in to the Bunkhouse, you will need to come to the Safari office during office hours, or make arrangement for the keys as listed in #5, below.

4) When you arrive, pull to the right of the Safari office and park to come in the office. Your rental serves as authorization for Buena Vista to charge any balance due at the time of your arrival to the credit card you have on file.

5) FOR AFTER HOURS BUNKHOUSE or CABIN CHECK-IN, YOU MUST CALL THE OFFICE TO MAKE ARRANGEMENT FOR THE KEYS BEFORE THE SAFARI OFFICE CLOSES!! You may find the seasonal office hours on the website here: https://www.buenavistawildlifesafari.com/hoursandinfo. (Failure to make contact with staff will result in your not being able to get into your house or cabin when you arrive!)RV, CABIN, and BUNKHOUSE RULES:

• You must show a photo ID if asked.

• CHECK-INs. RV Check-in is 2 PM and check-out is 1 PM. Bunkhouse and Cabin Check-in is 3 PM and check-out is 11 AM.

• DEPOSITS AND REFUNDS. Your deposit is your first night's stay. If reservation cancelled 8 or more days in advance, $10 cancellation fee and balance refunded to credit card. If reservation cancelled 7 or fewer days in advance, forfeit the deposit.

• SITE OCCUPANCY. One RV per campsite. Tents allowed at RV and Cabin sites for paying guests.

• SMOKING, ALCOHOL, AND ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES. All houses, cabins and buildings strictly non-smoking. Two designated areas for smoking or vaping. No cigarette butts on the ground. No public intoxication or disorderly conduct. No illegal substances.

• PETS. All breeds welcome. Dog park on site. Pets must be on leash. May require guest to remove misbehaving or threatening pet. No pets in the Safari. No pets in Red or Blue cabins or other buildings. Pets welcome in Bunkhouse and Orange Cabin. Pets must be on a leash. Please clean up after your pets.

• RESTROOMS AND SHOWERS. All buildings are OPEN at this time. Bathhouse and Showers are for paying guests only (Cabin, RV, or Tent Guests). Laundry facilities available on site.

• LAUNDRY FACILITIES. Coin operated washers and dryers available at Safari. Washer and Dryer included in Bunkhouse. Hanging laundry on a line is strictly prohibited everywhere.

• QUIET HOURS. 10 p.m. – 8 a.m.

• FIRES. Allowed in designated fire pits only. Firewood for sale at office. No cutting of vegetation. Charcoal grills provided at cabins and Event Center. May bring personal propane firepits and grills. Extinguish all fires.

• TRASH. Do not leave unconsumed food out. Place all trash in dumpster. DO NOT PUT ANY BURNING OBJECT IN THE DUMPSTER - YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL COSTS FROM A DUMPSTER FIRE!

• SECURITY. Buena Vista does not provide security to guard RVs, cabins, bunkhouse, or other personal property. The Park assumes no responsibility for injury, damage, or loss to property.

• AMENITIES. Safari tickets are not included in price of unit rentals. Rental of the Bunkhouse entitles you to all amenities on the Safari grounds (petting zoo, fishing hole, playground, seasonal swimming hole, etc.).

VIOLATORS

Violators of any of these rules are subject to immediate dismissal from the Park and/or a fine of up to $250 per day. You are responsible for leaving your accommodation in the same condition (with normal usage) as you found it when you arrived. We will hold the registered guest responsible for any and all damages found during and after your departure. We will send you an itemized invoice of the damage and will charge your credit card appropriately.

SAFARI CHECK-IN PROCEDURE:

1) Your purchase of Safari tickets serves as your consent to the release listed below.

2) Print or keep a digital copy of your receipt.

3) When you arrive, you can either pull straight forward and stop at the first window of the office ("Drive-Up"), or pull to the right and come inside the office.(A) If you would like Feed and Brochures, our Manager will assist you. (B) If you would prefer NOT to interact with a person, please hold a copy of your receipt or digital device against your window and wait for our Manager's verification.

RELEASE:

With my purchase, I acknowledge that I have received a copy of the rules and restrictions for Buena Vista Wildlife Safari and RV Park, and agree to abide by them for myself, my guests, and each minor accompanying me. I understand that wild animals are not within the control of the management, and I understand and agree that Buena Vista Wildlife Safari and RV Park is not liable for damage to vehicles, other personal property, or injury to myself, my guests, my children, or any other person which may result from interactions with animals or use of any portion of the property or facilities; and I hereby waive the right to make any claim whatsoever for such damages or injuries to myself, my guests, my children, minors under my care or direction accompanying me, property, or others; and I RELEASE and agree to INDEMNIFY Buena Vista Wildlife Safari and RV Park from any such claims.

SAFARI RULES:

• All buildings are OPEN at this time (including public restrooms).

• Stay in your vehicle at all times.

• Vehicle doors closed. Tops up on convertibles. Side doors on Jeeps.

• No riding in back of pickups.

• Do not feed anything other than that provided by Buena Vista.

• Toss the food on the ground for animals.

• Do not allow animals to put head inside vehicle.

• Do not honk horn.

• 5 mph speed limit.

• Do not feed in areas marked NO FEED zones.

• No pets inside the Safari.

• Remove loose items from vehicle.

• Do not litter. No cigarette butts or fire hazards.
