Welcome to Bonito Hollow RV Park & Campground your Lincoln National Forest vacation destination surrounded by the home of Smokey Bear and Billy the Kid. Bonito Hollow RV Park & Campground is privately owned and nestled on 12 acres along the Rio Bonito. Our park is conveniently located just minutes away from the excitement of Ruidoso’s restaurants, shopping, nightlife, skiing and horse racing and only 3 miles to the beautiful Bonito Lake. Bonito Hollow is perfect for an overnight stay or an exciting New Mexico camping vacation.
We invite you to come and spend some quality time with your family, friends, or alone and unwind in our scenic and peaceful campground. Fish, hike the nature trails, observe the abundant animal and bird life, and let the sound of the gurgling Rio Bonito lull you asleep each night.

House rules for a happy stay
Policies
Read this thoroughly, as the cancellation policy does vary, depending on what type of reservation you have… A $5 processing fee will be charged for EACH cancelled reservation.
Though we certainly hope you don’t, if you find you must cancel your reservation, simply cancel with the appropriate notice prior to your scheduled arrival date and, we will return your deposit less any processing fees.
A stay of 7 nights or longer during our peak season (mid June thru Labor Day), requires a 2 week notice.
All other reservations require 1 week notice prior to your scheduled arrival date for cancellation to avoid a one night charge.
Sadly, even in cases of an emergency, we cannot refund deposits when a cancellation occurs without proper notice. Additionally, guests who shorten their stay are liable for charges on cancelled nights. For those campers who participate in our Credit Card Authorization program, your MasterCard, Visa will be charged the $5 processing fee. Also, proper cancellation notice is required to avoid additional charges. No shows will be charged the full amount.
Holiday Cancellations: If you cancel at least 14 days or more prior to arrival, there will be a cancellation fee of $5.00 per site. If you give cancel less than 14 days notice prior to arrival, you will forfeit one night’s rent.
Rules & regulations
Check In- 1:00. Check Out- Noon.
Quiet hours are 10pm – 8am.
Prevent Forest Fires! Campfires are permitted in fire rings and should always be attended and properly extinguished.
Four legged friends are always welcome. Conveniently located doggy stations can be found in the park, equipped with disposal bags to help ensure that all pets are picked up after. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. They must never be left unattended and should not be disruptive. Due to health regulations, pets are not permitted in our rental units. Two dog maximum.
Help us keep critters away by depositing all trash in the dumpster.
Please respect your neighbors and other campers by using walkways, rather than cutting through sites.
SLOW DOWN, for kids' sake! Please observe our 10 mph speed limit throughout the park.
Generators are not permitted.
No ATVs allowed in the park.
$5 each additional person per night (maximum 8 people including visitors).
Children 10 and under are free.
Each site includes 1 car free. One additional car is allowed and the cost of that car is $5.00 a night.
You must arrive in the park by 9:00 PM.
