Welcome to Bliss Canyon!
Relax stream side in your private camp overlooking lush nature and towering rock outcroppings. Stroll along a rushing stream or head up challenging Moose Track trail to Balancing Rock. After your day of adventure or kicking back enjoy a hot shower. Share your revelations of the day around the campfire, roast marshmallows, or relish your favorite beverage or special treat as you unwind.
The open-air, covered Kitchens have sinks, fresh, potable hot water, kitchenware, gas stove —pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc, BBQ with side burner, critter-resistant food safe, bear-proof trash can, and picnic table outside. We provide a convenient propane campfire for safety since our climate is dry and often windy. No candles or open flames please.
There are easy trails on property along the lush stream (the original riverbed of the Middle Saint Vrain Stream), fishing or swimming in the pond (no lifeguard on duty), or challenging trails into Roosevelt National Forest from the property. (Ask Hiker Dot for guidance.) Several National Forest access points, where you can enjoy peaceful walks away from crowds, are a short drive.
Let the world melt away; there is no wifi or cell service, the world will survive without your input. In the event of urgent need, come to our home up the hill and ring the bell and we can get you connected.
The charming town of Lyons is 20 minutes away with coffee shops, restaurants, bars, lots of great live music, library with free wifi, and quaint shops*. Also, Spirit Hound Distillery received the award for the #1, Best Whiskey in the World in 2022, hmmm, it might be worth a tasting!

House rules for a happy stay
Policies
If you cancel at least 24 hours before your check in day and time, you’ll receive a full refund (minus processing fees). If you cancel less than 24 hours before check in, there will be no refund.
Rules & regulations
Toilet available- Portable toilet. Portable Outhouse
Pets allowed- Pets are allowed at this listing. (On leash) Pet must disclosed be pre-approved by Dot and Byron prior to bringing them. Calm pets are welcome. On leash please. Off leash may be permissible by hosts approval. Pets are not allowed on beds. Bring your pet's bed. Please bring your own towels to wipe pet's feet. All poop must be picked up immediately!
No campfires- Bliss Camp provides a gas fire pit, a gas range, no oven, and a gas BBQ. There is no smoking due to fire danger. No Candles allowed.
Potable water available
Hot water. A hot water shower is available. Only biodegradable soaps please!
Recycling bin, trash bin. Waste disposal is available at this listing. (Recycling bin, Trash bin) IMPORTANT! Please be a good Human and don't endanger Bears. Please leave no trace, keep all food and garbage locked away to keep bears away. Bear safe is provided. Do not leave food sitting out at anytime of day or night. Do not leave food, chips, etc. visible in your car. Please use the provided Bear Proof garbage can.
Bbq, communal, stovetop or hot plate, cookware, cooking utensils, dishware, cutlery, sink or other dishwashing station. Kitchen or cooking equipment are available in the shared, Communal Kitchen, Stovetop or hot plate, BBQ with side burner, Cookware, Cooking utensils, Dishware, Cutlery, Sink or other dishwashing station) No Pizza oven! Kitchen must be left clean after every use due to potential bear visits.
There are two picnic table for appropriate social distancing.

We accommodate:
Travel trailers, Fifth wheels, Toy haulers, Pop-up campers, Class A RVs, Class B RVs, Class C RVs, and Campervans under 32 feet allowed
Sites are limited by by vehicle size. Be prepared to back out to highway.
Surface type: Concrete pad
No electrical hookup. No water hookup. Hose available to fill your jugs only when host is available. No sewage hookup. Please arrive with empty black/gray tanks
No TV hookup
Generators- Minimal use allowed midday by host approval only, out of respect for our Glampers
