Big Rig RV Park Campground is one of the oldest campgrounds for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Big Rig RV Park Campground is located in Sturgis, South Dakota, and we are open exclusively for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The campground is perched on top of a hill and has spectacular views of the Sturgis and the Black Hills area. We are just two miles from the legendary Sturgis Main Street with very easy access to I-90, Boulder Canyon, Vanocker Canyon, and other Black Hills attractions.
We have a variety of campsites especially lots with spectacular views of the beautiful Black Hills. Our campsites feature full service hook-ups including water, sewer, 30/50 amp electricity, and WIFI that actually works. Our campsites have a gravel surface and are nearly perfectly level with little or no blocking required. We have two campgrounds, the original North site launched in 2000, and the South site constructed in 2015. Both sites include a very clean men’s and women’s shower-house.
The official dates for the 2023 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally are Friday, August 4th thru Sunday, August 13th, 2023. However, many of our guests arrive early or come in later in order to avoid the crowds. We are open from May 1, 2023 and into the fall this year. We have 8 different schedules to accommodate your travel plans. Please come stay with us to enjoy the 2023 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

House rules for a happy stay
Policies
Non-Rally Cancellation Policy
Cancellations within two (2) days of arrival will result in full forfeiture of deposit. Cancellations three (3) days or more prior to arrival will result in a $10 cancellation fee.
Motorcycle Rally Cancellation Policy
Big Rig RV Park, LLC offers a 100% - no questions asked refund (minus the $79 non-refundable deposit), on rally cancellations thru March 31st, 2023. We offer a 70% - no questions asked refund (minus the $79 non-refundable deposit), on reservations cancelled between April 1st, 2023 and May 31st, 2023. Please allow 4 weeks for refund. All sales are FINAL on or after June 1st, 2023. We do not offer any refunds on or after June 1st, 2023.
Rules & regulations
Park Rules
Check-in time is after 3pm.
Check-out time is by 10am.
No generators; please use the 20/30/50-amp service.
Pets must be on a leash at all times. To avoid disturbing your neighbors, please restrain your pet from aggressive behavior and barking, and collect pet droppings immediately.
No smoking is allowed in the shower house or park office.
No campfires are allowed in the park.
Quiet time is from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Speed limit inside the park is 10 mph.
When entering and exiting the park, please do so as safely and quietly as possible.
Guests may visit you but must check-in at the office to receive a temporary wristband. All guests must vacate the park by 9 p.m. or purchase an overnight wristband.
Firearms and fireworks are not allowed in the RV park.
