The Alexandria Minnesota area is well known for friendly hospitality and for the many activities, stores, restaurants and services available to our visitors. Once you've visited our area in central Minnesota, we think that you'll want to come back again and again....you will understand why "Easy to get to, hard to leave" is more than just a slogan.
Lake Mary is well cared for and watched by the Minnesota DNR (department of natural resources), the Lake Mary Lake Association, and resort owners. Water quality is monitored to keep the lake clean and clear for water sports and swimming. Fishing on Lake Mary, one of the best central Minnesota fishing lakes, is great for Bass, Crappie, Sunfish, Northern Pike, and Walleye. Lake Mary is stocked with walleye every other year. Each cabin is provided 1 free dock slip to tie up your private boat. We have our own boat launch to make it easy for those who bring their own boats to get out on the water. There are also fishing boats and pontoons for rent if you choose to not bring your own watercraft.
Big Foot Resort caters to guests with lodging choices: cabins to those that bring their own RVs for the weekend, or come to be part of our seasonal RV park. Our Seasonal campground currently has 123 full hookup RV sites in use.
Our amenities include an 18 hole mini golf course, playground or swim in one of our pools. We have one larger pool for swimming, and another for the little ones to wade in without the worry of others splashing, or the water being too deep for them. If you like biking, you'll love the paved bike trails that run through Alexandria.

Cabin 8
Cabin #8 is about 200 yards from the beach with a nice view, and a large private yard and sleeps up to 8. It is a three bedroom with a queen size bed in each, and two queen sofa sleepers in the large living area and a ¾ bath.
All of our cabins are furnished with a flat screen TV with satellite, air-conditioning, a full kitchen, deck, patio table and chairs, a charcoal grill and a fire pit.
The kitchens come equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffeemaker, cooking utensils, dishes, flatware, pots and pans, coffee filters, dish soap and garbage bags. You will need to bring your own dish rags and towels.
Our bedrooms are furnished with comfortable beds and bedding. Bathrooms have toilet tissue and hand soap provided. You will need to bring your own towels and wash cloths.
Included in the price of your cabin rental is 1 boat docking space. Additional spaces can be requested and are an additional cost.

Cabin 9
Cabin #9 is a located in the front of the campground and a short distance from the lake with lake views. It is a 2 story with 5 bedrooms and can sleep up to 14. There is a queen size bed in 3 of the rooms. The 4th has a bunk with a full bottom and a twin top, and the 5th has 2 twins. There are two queen sofa sleepers in the living room on the upper level. The kitchen has most everything you may need including a dishwasher. Each bedroom also has it's own TV which are digital/air antenna only.

Cabins 1-6
These cabins are situated along the lakeshore. Each of these can sleep up to six. The interiors are of knotty pine. Each has a 3/4 bath with a medicine cabinet and vanity.
Cabin #1 has an open interior (no bedrooms) for a larger, more open feel, with two queen size beds.
Cabin #2 is a semi-open layout, with a partition wall between the living and sleeping areas, and a curtain to pull between the 2 queen beds.
Cabins #3 - 6 are two bedroom cabins.
Cabin #3 has a queen bed in one bedroom and bunk beds in the other.
Cabin #4 has a full size bed in one bedroom and bunk beds in the other.
Cabin #5 has full size beds in both bedrooms
Cabin #6 has full size beds in both bedrooms.

Cabin #7 is about 150 yards from the lake, with a nice view, and can sleep up to 12. The interior is sheet rocked walls with vaulted ceilings and has a screened porch on the lake side. It is a three bedroom with two queen beds in one, a king size in the second, a bunk/futon bed with a queen size mattress on the bottom and a twin on the top in the third, and also has two queen sleeper sofas in the living room. There is a built in dishwasher and a TV in each bedroom (the bedroom TV's are digital/air antenna only). There is 1 full bath and a 3/4 bath.

Cabin #11 is a 2 bedroom park model that sleeps 4 and is located along the lakeshore. The interior is knotty pine and has a 3/4 bath with a shower and vanity. It has a queen bed in the master bedroom and bunk beds in the second bedroom. If you need bedding for the sofa sleeper, please make us aware as you check-in and we will give it to you at that time.

Cabin #10 is a 2 bedroom that sleeps 8 with the sandy beach area right outside the front patio door. It has a queen bed in each bedroom, with two queen sleeper sofa's. It is larger than the other two bedroom cabins at Big Foot with a full bath, larger living room and nice size bedrooms.

Policies
Deposit is non-refundable. If cancelled within 60 days of your reservation start date the entire deposit is forfeited. If cancelled over 60 days from your reservation start date there is a $50 booking fee and the remainder will be available for a future reservation for up to 1 year.
50% deposit is required within 5 days of making the reservation.
No refunds are available for early departure.
You will be responsible for payment of full reserved stay if canceling within 21 days of your reserved arrival date, if not re-rented.

Cabin check-in is after 3:00pm, and check-out is before 10:00am. Early check-in and late check-out requests will be charged $20 per additional hour requested. We reserve the right to remove your property to facilitate our preparations for the next guest’s arrival.
RV camping check-in is after 3:00pm, and check-out is before 2:00pm
Pets are NOT allowed in the cabins. Pets accompanying an RV stay must be leashed at all times when not inside the camper. There is no additional charge to bring your pet during your RV stay. Pets must be leashed at all times. Pick up after your pet, and place it in the dumpster. Dogs may not be left unattended inside/outside the camper if they may bark or whine. Occasional barking or whining from a dog is not unusual, but if it is frequent or constant, will ask that you quiet the pet, or remove it from the resort.
Storm shelters: Owners home, lower level (west side of the main road near the 3 steel sheds). Basements in Cabins 8 and 9.
Anyone under 21 years of age must be at their site or cabin between 10:00pm - 7:00am or be accompanied by an adult.
Quiet time is from 11:00pm to 8:00am
All of your visitors must register at the office (Minnesota state requirement)
Please deposit all waste in the dumpsters.
Do not dispose of grease in your drains. This will not only clog your drains, but ours as well. Place it in a container, then in a dumpster.
Fires belong only in fire rings, and cans and bottles do not.
No Fishing from Pedal boats, they are for recreation, and are not licensed watercraft. The DNR or Sheriff will fine you.
Please follow water Raft rules. They are for your safety.
To continue driving privileges within the resort, our speed limits must be obeyed.
