Policies
There is a $25 cancellation fee on all cancellations.
Holidays/Special Events: You must give a 21 day notice or more to receive a full refund minus the $25 cancellation fee. If less than 21 days there is no refund given.
Non-Holidays: You must give a 10 day notice or more to receive a full refund minus the $25 cancellation fee. If less than 10 days you will receive a full refund minus the $25 cancellation fee plus the first two nights stay.
There is a 3 day minimum on Holiday/Special Event weekends.
Memorial Day – May 26th – May 29th
Independence Day – June 30th - July 4th
Damnation – July 13th – July 16th
Labor Day – September 1st – September 4th
Hot Boat – September 7th – September 10th
There is a 2 day minimum (3 day on Holiday/Special Event weekends) for Cabins.
Boat MC # and Trailer Plate # must be recorded at the time of dock rental. Dock rules must be signed at rental and all fees paid in full.
Smoking is prohibited in all park buildings!
One (1) camping unit per site. Vehicles must display a pass or park sticker; one vehicle pass is included in the cost of camping. Park on registered lot or in visitor parking only. Lot posts must remain in the ground and no digging.
Campfires must be in designated fire ring, always attended and extinguished by 2 A.M. No burning of diapers, tin, glass, plastic, etc.
Two (2) pet limit per lot. No aggressive pets allowed. Excessive barking not allowed. Pets must remain on a visible leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your unit. Pets must not enter beach area, bathrooms, and bathhouses or left unattended at any time. Handler must be able to always control pets. Owners must clean up after their pets(s). After two (2) animal violations, camping privileges will be revoked.
Registered campers are responsible for their guests conduct. No more than eight persons shall occupy a site. Parents are held responsible for the action of their children. Children under the age of eight (8) must be always adult supervised. Guest under the age of eighteen (18) must remain on their lot from 11 P.M. – 7 A.M. unless accompanied by an adult. No biking after dark.
Beach, picnic areas, and playground areas are closed from dusk to dawn. NO lifeguard on duty at any time, on any day.
Visitors must leave park by 11 P.M. or purchase and display an overnight pass if staying with a guest.
Disorderly conduct including but not limited to violence, obscenity, vulgarity, intoxication, or disturbance of peace is prohibited. Quiet time is reserved from 11 P.M. – 7 A.M.
This rule is enforced, and you will only be asked once to quiet down – if you do not adhere you will be evicted and banned from our parks.
Check-in time is 1P.M. Check-out time is 11 A.M.
Absolutely No Fireworks are allowed in the park! Sparklers allowed with adult supervision.
Dumpsters provided for “while camping trash” only. Please keep your site clean.
Seasonal and Tri-Weekly patrons pay for their own electric usage @ current posted rate.
Big Prairie Township Parks Commission reserves the right to interpret and enforce park rules at their discretion.
