Come join us in our beautiful 19 acre pine filled, rolling terrain campground in Custer, South Dakota. Enjoy the sounds of the breeze through the pines, birds singing and calm surroundings in a safe, small town atmosphere. Stay in our spacious RV sites, your tent or simple to deluxe cabins. Have fun in our heated pool. We are conveniently located just 3.5 miles from the town of Custer, South Dakota. We are 30 minutes from Custer State Park, 22 minutes from Mt. Rushmore, 10 minutes from Crazy Horse Monument, 9 minutes from Jewel Cave National Monument. The beauty of Custer State Park and the infamous Needles Highway can be very busy for campers, which is why many of our guests choose to stay with us at Beaver Lake Campground. Our central location and peaceful setting will put you very close to all of the amazing things to see and do in the Black Hills (Paha Sapa in the Lakota language) of South Dakota.
We are open from April 1 to November 1. Pool open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Water slide closed.
Wonderful News! As of 6/4/22, we have a brand new park-wide Wi-Fi system. Guests dependent on Wi-Fi for work will need their own system. Our rural infrastructure isn’t equivalent to big city Wi-Fi.

Quiet hours 10 pm to 8 AM
Check in time for RVs 1 PM
Check in time for Cabins 2 PM
Check out time is 11 AM
ELECTRICAL SURGE PROTECTION is guest responsibility for their RV. Highly advised for RV electrical protection.
RATES
All rates are based on 2 people. Extra guests are $5 per night. Children 5 & under are free. 16 and older are adults. 2 dogs per site maximum. Prices are subject to change. Deposits are non refundable.
Site numbers are not guaranteed, the type of site is guaranteed unless you lock in the site with a lock fee.
Office hours 8 AM to 7:30 PM during high season.
PROPANE filling hours 8:am-7pm. By law any tanks older than 10 yrs pasted certified date must be recertified.

NOTICE:
As a registered guest at Beaver Lake Campground you assume responsibility for your conduct and all guests and visitors within your site. You are responsible and are expected to abide by the following rules.
Obey the 5 mph speed limit within the campground. NO exceptions.
You must check out by 11 am or a late departure fee equal to the daily site rate will be charged. Restrooms, showers, and laundry rooms are for guests only. For the convenience of all guests promptly remove your laundry, leave the laundry room neat and clean cleaning out the lint trap, removing all personal items.
Oil change or vehicle repairs not allowed within the campground.
All vehicles must be currently registered and be in good condition.
To respect others privacy don’t walk into an occupied site without permission of the occupant.
Sewer connections must comply with the regulatory requirements of the State of South Dakota.
All campsites will remain uncluttered. Storage of any type is prohibited. No clotheslines or tarps.
Campfires allowed only in designated fire pits. Do not move fire pits.
Do not park on the grass. Ask for additional parking
No fireworks or cutting of firewood
Pools are open for 9AM to 9PM weather permitting from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Ambient temperatures must be above 60 F. for pools to open. Big pool is 3.5’ deep. Small pool is 2’.5 deep. No diving. NO lifeguard on duty. Children not toilet trained must wear swim diapers. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. .

GUEST CONDUCT
Beaver Lake Campground is privately owned. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. The guest accepts privileges with the understanding that the guest does hereby release Durango Starr LLC and its officers and employees against claims resulting from loss of any kind of damage to property, to the guest or any member of family or guest of the registered guest arising out of the use of campground facilities. Disorderly, ill-mannered conduct or drunkenness will not be tolerated. Parents or their guardians are responsible for children’s behavior at all times. All campground occupants and guests must comply with federal, state, local laws and park rules. No pets in public restrooms. Service dogs excluded.
WIFI
Beaver Lake Campground provides complimentary unsecured WiFi service to guests on an AS-IS basis and assumes no liability as a result of connecting to the services. Guest use of wifi system at own risk.
CABIN POLICIES
All cabins are NON-smoking. Guests are fully aware that tobacco odor, smoking paraphernalia found inside cabins will result in a mandatory minimum cleaning charge of $200 to Guests credit card, and authorizes charges to Guest’s credit card.
Necessity for excessive cleaning or damage caused by guests may result in charges to guest credit card as above.
Please do not move cabin furniture. There may be a charge if cleaning staff has to move back into place.
No candles in cabins due to fire danger.
PET POLICY
Beaver Lake Campground welcomes VIPs (Very Important Pets) and we have a few rules to follow.
2 pets maximum per site
Must be leashed, (no longer than 6 feet), cleaned up after, and not allowed to bark incessantly.
May not be left unattended, tied up outside or left alone in cabins.
$10/night fee per dog in cabins 3,4,7 &8.
No cats allowed in cabins.
Pets are solely your legal responsibility. If any pet causes damage there will be a charge.
All shots must be current
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult in the dog park.
We do have wildlife, that don’t appreciate being harassed by pets!
No pets in the public restrooms. Service dog excluded.
