AUSTIN LAKE CABIN RULES

AGES: At least one registered guest must be 21 years of age or older and will be in charge of the cabin and guests throughout the rental period.

GUEST COUNT: The premises shall be occupied by no more than the number of people registered. NO TENTS ARE TO BE SET UP. Absolutely no unregistered overnight guests are permitted. Daily visitors must leave park by 11:00 pm.

CABIN CHECK-OUT/CHECK-IN TIME: Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Check-out time is 12:00 noon. Housekeeping needs adequate time to prepare for the next guest.

EARLY DEPARTURE/LATE ARRIVALS: No refunds will be made for early departure or delayed arrivals. No refunds or reservation changes can be made for any reason, including inclement weather, work schedule changes, sickness, or other unforeseen issues.

NO SMOKING: All cabins are non-smoking. If anyone in my party chooses to smoke in a cabin, I agree to pay a minimum $100 cleaning charge per occurrence.

QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are 11 pm to 8 am. You may talk quietly after 11 pm as long as you are not disturbing any neighbors. Music must also be turned down. All children must be back on site by 11 pm.

BEHAVIOR: Your guests are your responsibility. If you cannot be sure of their behavior, do not include them in your plans. No loud arguing, swearing or other undesirable behavior is allowed. Eviction is possible.

ALCOHOL: Alcohol is permitted in moderation. No hard liquor. No one under 21 is permitted alcohol. This is a family oriented park and under no circumstances is alcohol to be the main focus. Recreational drugs are not welcome under any circumstances. Law enforcement could become involved.

GRILL/FIRE RING: Each cabin is equipped with a fire ring and a charcoal grill. Firewood is available for sale or you may bring your own. Do not take firewood from other campsites.

SERVICES: At times the power goes out. Austin Lake will not be responsible for any interruption of service due to power failure or weather events. This is a naturally occurring event. In the case of interruption of water service, we will do all that is humanly possible to remedy the situation.

NON PET-FRIENDLY & PET-FRIENDLY CABINS: NON PET-FRIENDLY: Swan House, Rocky Raccoon Cabin 1 & 2 and Eagle Cabin 1 & 2. If anyone in my party chooses to bring an animal into a non pet friendly cabin, I agree to pay a minimum $100 cleaning charge per occurrence. PET-FRIENDLY: Train Cabin, Great Blue Heron Cabin, Keyhole Cabin 1 & 2 and Pondside Cabin 1 & 2. For your convenience, these cabins are designated pet-friendly for service dogs, seeing-eye dogs or personal pets. Please cover any furniture or bed with a sheet or blanket if pet gets on the furniture. Clean up lot and cabin thoroughly. I understand that I am responsible for any damages caused by my party’s animals.

LOSS OF PERSONAL ITEMS: Each guest is solely responsible for any loss by any person, while in residence including loss of money, jewelry or other personal items. We will do our best to return items left behind at the guest’s expense. Lockers are located at the Concession Stand to store items.

HOME FURNISHINGS/EQUIPMENT: Do not take any indoor furniture or chairs outside on the porch or grounds. Dishes, mugs, glassware, utensils may be used outside. Never use pots, pans, skillets, etc. over a fire. When packing up to leave, make sure whoever is packing is aware of the items that stay with the cabin. There is an inventory located in a notebook in each cabin. Loss of these items, as well as damage other than normal wear and tear will be charged to you. Do not put thumbtacks or staples in cabin woodwork.

KEYS: Return cabin keys to the office upon your final departure. Please be sure that all doors are locked. The cost of non-returned keys is $10 each.

CHECK-OUT: Please leave entire site clean. Wash all cooking utensils, dishes, etc. and put away. Check cabin inventory. Clean up any trash, cans, bottles, cups, food, etc. both inside and outside on the grounds. Close all windows and check entire cabin for items left behind and for any damages. Take garbage to dumpster. Recycling bins are available. Notify main office upon your departure and return keys for final check-out. If leaving before office is open, please leave keys in the Information Mailbox at the Concession Stand.

CAMP RULES

All visitors pay daily admission, must be out of park by 11pm.

Rental golf carts mandatory 21 years of age or older to drive. Do not drive through creeks.

Children (11 and under) must be in the company of adults when at the shower building.

Pets must be kept on a leash and kept quiet at all times.

Two cares per lost, extra vehicles may park in parking lots.

No car washing.

Small campfires allowed inside designated areas only. Do not move fire rings.

No fireworks, firearms or weapons of any kind.

Motorcycles are not to be main transportation in park.

Beach/swimming (children 11 and under) must be watched by an adult.

Fishing in ponds (catch and release) is included in camp fee.

Check-in at 12pm or later for campsites. Check out at 12pm. No late check outs.

No refunds.

No electric scooters.
