Arrowhead Point Camping Resort is located on 23 acres and host to campsites, cabins, cottages and yurts nestled in a mountain setting with wide open skies and bright stars. Home of The Original 1800's Pony Express and Stage Coach Stop, the park still contains the bunkhouse, stable and tack room from the 1800's when it was one of the 165 weigh stations on the Pony Express route.
This complete campground offers everything you could ask for: a tranquil setting with quality amenities. Our full service RV sites can accommodate everything from state-of-the-art coaches to pop-up campers. We offer full service cabins and cottages, yurts, tent sites in the trees and private group tenting areas. Use us as your base camp for day trips to local attractions such as the Colorado Springs, Royal Gorge, Pikes Peaks and Great Sand Dunes. Go rafting down the Arkansas River, ride through the mountains on horseback or rent a jeep or ATV and take them up in the high country. After a busy day, return to Arrowhead Point and enjoy a Rocky Mountain sunset, spend an evening under the stars.

Deluxe Cabin
Our Deluxe Cabins are great for families. These cabins sleep a family of four comfortably. They offer either a queen or double bed, set of bunks, table and chairs and air conditioning in one room. To make your stay a bit more comfortable they offer a refrigerator, microwave, sink and half bath (showers available at the main bathhouse or private restrooms available as well). Outside is a picnic table and ground level grill for cooking and campfire! Linen is not included. Pets welcome.

Yurt
Our yurts are great for families who also enjoy a roof over their heads, but are watching their budget. These yurts sleep a family of four comfortably. They offer a queen size bed, a set of bunks. All yurts offer refrigerators. Outside each offers a nice deck. Also, a picnic table, ground level grill for cooking as well as a fire pit for campfire and family time under the stars! Linens are not included.

Rustic Cabin
Our rustic cabin is nestled within the trees also with an awesome view. The Rustic Cabin offers a double bed with a set of bunks, and refrigeration. Outside offers a small deck with chairs, a picnic table, ground level grill for cooking as well as a fire pit for campfire. Linens not included. Pets welcome.

Roomy Cozy Cougar Camper
Our roomy Cozy Cougar camper is 35 ft in length with one slide out and sleeps four comfortably. The Cougar offers a private bedroom with a queen bed, set of bunks to accommodate two, table with bench style seating for dining and air conditioning. To make your stay a bit more comfortable the Cougar offers a refrigerator, microwave, stove top and sink in the kitchen area and a full bathroom with shower. Outside is a picnic table and ground level grill for cooking and campfire! Linen is not included.

Cottage w/CATV
Our cottages are a step up and sleep four comfortably. They offer a private bedroom with a double bed, a small sitting area with a set of bunks, the loft is sleeping room only and has a double size mattress. The cottage offers full bathroom accommodations with a shower/tub combo. The full kitchen includes a microwave, stove, full-size refrigerator, coffee pot, all the essentials for six people and air conditioning. Cottages offer Cable TV. Linens are not included. Cottages are non-smoking and non-pet friendly. Each cottage offers a private backyard with a picnic table, ground-level grill for cooking, and a fire pit for campfire and family time under the stars!

Our loft cabins are great for youth groups, reunions and families! These cabins sleep up to 4-6 people (4 comfortably). They offer a queen bed, table and chairs in one room. The second room offers a set of bunk beds and a loft with a double size mattress with sleeping room only. All loft cabins offer a refrigerator. Outside is a picnic table and ground level grill for cooking and campfire! Linen is not provided. Our loft cabins are non smoking and non pet friendly.

Policies
Any cancellation of an RV or Tent Site will incur a $20 handling fee. If cancellation is not received at least 7 days prior to 1 PM on the scheduled day of arrival, charges equaling one night stay plus the handling fee will be assessed.
Any cancellation of a Deluxe Cabin, Cottage, Yurt, Rustic Cabin or Loft Cabins will incur a $50 handling fee. If cancellation is not received at least 30 days prior to scheduled day of arrival, charges equaling one night stay plus the handling fee will be assessed. If cancellation occurs less than 24 hours prior to date of arrival, you will be responsible for the entire charges for your accommodations.
Failure to cancel will result in a "No Show" and your card on file will be billed in FULL for the entire stay. To avoid penalties, please cancel as soon as possible if your plans change.
There are no refunds for early departure, so please be mindful when committing to your reservation dates.
Thank you for considering Arrowhead Point Campground & Cabins for your upcoming visit to the Buena Vista area. Our campground is located on a Scenic Byway and the 14,000 foot Collegiate Peaks circle the campground offering amazing views in every direction.
Office hours vary depending on the season. If you plan to arrive after dark, please make arrangements with the office to be certain you can enter the park after dark. Check in is at 2 PM and Check out is at 11 AM. Early check-ins will incur a nominal fee.
In years past, bringing firewood along to a camping weekend was tradition. However, forestry officials now understand that this practice contributed to the spread of invasive species such as the Mountain Pine Beetle. Invasive species have devastated forests in Colorado! Transportation of firewood into or out of Arrowhead Point Campground & Cabins must be prohibited. Firewood is available for sale at the campground.
Two guests are included in the nightly rate. Please note that when reserving a site, we charge $5 per day for each additional guest over the age of 5 years old. We also require a $10 non-refundable reservation fee at the time of booking.
Pets are welcome, however we do have a maximum of 2 dogs per RV site, 2 dogs per Tent site and 2 dogs maximum in our Deluxe Cabins and Rustic Cabin ONLY. Please note not all cabins are pet friendly (pet fees apply as follows: in our pet friendly cabins - $10/pet/night and rv and tent sites - $2/pet/night)
Tents are NOT allowed on RV Sites.
One vehicle is allowed per site. Overflow parking for extra vehicles and/or trailers with ATV’s, etc., is available at NO EXTRA CHARGE.
