Picturesque Chestnut Ridge Park & Campground is surrounded by Coopers Rock State Forest and the West Virginia University Forest, creating an outdoor recreational area of over 16,000 acres. Located just 10 miles east of Morgantown, West Virginia on Interstate 68 at exit 15 / Coopers Rock. Please do not take Darnell Hollow Road unless you are familiar and confident with this WV backroad.During the daylight, guests are welcome to picnic, begin a hike through the WVU Forest, fish our two ponds (no license required, catch and release only), swim in our pond beach area, or engage in family sports in our large field. During the winter, guests often use the park for sledding, XC skiing, snowshoeing, and snowboarding. These activities are free of charge and available from dawn to dusk, whenever weather conditions permit. We don't ALWAYS have snow in the winter, but we do have a snowmaker so we can have snow and sledding more often. A cable lift is currently being installed to pull weary legs up the hill!Overnight rental accommodation are also available for guests who wish to extend the fun past dusk. We have over 40 primitive tent sites, 10 RV sites, and seven unique cabins.

Gary's Family Campground is located in the Wild and Wonderful WV Eastern Panhandle. Nestled in Sideling Hill next to the Cacapon Rivers on each side. Within a 2-hour drive from Baltimore and Washington, DC to the seclusion of WV. Close to Colonial and Civil War Historical sites. Minutes from Berkeley Springs, the "Nation's First Spa". Travel the historic WV-9 through the West Virginia mountains. We provide a serene setting among the natural beauty of West Virginia. The new WV Hunting Reserve and Audubon Nature Preserve are located close by. Bring your RV or tent. We are pet friendly. We also have other facilities available such as our cottage, guest house, and two cabins. We are a full-service campground with 35+ campsites for both RV, tent, and cabin camping. Each site is equipped with water & electric hookup as well as a picnic table and fire ring. We offer both 30 amp & 50 amp for our RV sites. There is also easy access for our RV Sites as there is a 20' wide circular driveway. Up at the Lodge we have a Game Room with pool tables as well as a small soda machine and camp store. The lounge area is A/C controlled and contains a 50" Satellite TV. There is now a newly added Reading Room to enjoy some quiet time reading a book or working a puzzle all while enjoying a cup of coffee. If you just want to relax outdoors you can sit and watch TV outside as well or for your viewing enjoyment, you can relax in our sitting area on our upper deck to soak in a gorgeous view of the Great Cacapon Mountains.

The Lazy-A Campground is located approximately 85 miles west of Washington, DC, in Back Creek Valley, West Virginia. We are a family-owned and operated business striving to provide your family with a unique experience of the great outdoors including traditional camping and fishing. We have 32 campsites, 14 of which are mostly shaded and equipped with water and 30 amp electrical service for RV camping. The other 18 sites are more “primitive”, located among the trees along Back Creek. There is a dump station on the left and dumpster on the right at the exit of the campground. Campfires are permitted within the fire rings provided. There are 14 sites with water and 30-amp electric hookups for RV’s. In addition, there are two 50 amp and one 30 amp sites with water and sewer available on a separate lot. There is a laundry room available when the office is open. Separate male and female restroom facilities with hot showers are available 24hrs a day. Each has 2 showers, 2 toilets, and 2 sinks with electric outlets at sinks.

The 42-acre man-made freshwater lake and white sandy beach draw many visitors who enjoy swimming, canoeing, boating and fishing. A visitor center is open year-round and features information on the South Mountain Recreation Area and a small gift shop.Almost eleven miles of hiking trails meander through a variety of wildlife habitats. Rock outcrops show much of the earth's geologic history. A portion of the Appalachian Trail enters the eastern edge of the park on Bartman's Hill Trail.Greenbrier State Park offers 164 campsites in a forest setting with fresh water and bathhouses in each camp loop. Suited for a variety of campers, the park offers two pet-friendly camping loops, one electric camping loop and tent and RV sites.Greenbrier State Park offers an accessible visitor center, picnic areas and some campsites. A beach wheelchair is also available.

Cherry Hill Park is a family-owned and operated campground that has been in the Gurevich family for 5 generations. We love hosting guests from all across America, from all over the world, and from just down the road in our home state of Maryland. Our story begins back in 1921, when Jacob and Rose Gurevich moved out to the country from Washington, DC. They bought a plot of land, started Cherry Hill Poultry Farm, and set up a general store right by the road. When travelers came through, Rose allowed them to set up camp behind the store, and the Gurevich family entered the industry of hospitality for the first time.After World War II, the nation experienced a housing crisis. We became Cherry Hill Trailer Park, then Cherry Hill Mobile Home Village, housing many GIs and young families. As the interstate highway system grew, Americans began to travel for leisure, and many needed a place to stay while visiting Washington, DC. Cherry Hill Campcity was born, and we became a business that catered to travelers and tourists for the first time.In the 1980s, Rose and Jacob's grandson Norman Gurevich and his wife, Joan, had a vision for a new kind of campground: a top-tier destination park that offered premium amenities, extensive services, full hook-ups, and room for even the biggest RVs. We built Cherry Hill Park from scratch, moving one mile down the road from our original location. 2 generations later, we've officially settled into our new location, and we are still focused on continuing to grow and change to accommodate the needs of our guests. In 2015, we completed another major renovation, adding a splash park, premium log cabins, 18-hole mini golf, a new bathhouse, a gym, an outdoor pavilion, new laundry facilities, and group tenting sites.
