This site offers an exceptional place to fish, kayak, bike on farm roads, view wildlife or take a scenic walk to view the mountains and working farm. The valley is alive with history, culture, breweries and wineries to explore within a 15 to 25 minute drive. Our property currently has two Signature camping sites which each include a canvas tent, a queen mattress, a table and chairs. Sites are approximately 200 yards apart. This allows each camper their own privacy but also gives families and friends a location to enjoy within walking distance of each other. (Sites cannot be seen from one another.) In addition to the onsite amenities, the following will also be provided: Coleman camp stove (includes gas), fire wood, pillows, sheets and blankets for one queen size bed and lanterns. Not provided: kayak, fishing gear or bikes.

The campsite is situated on a beautiful flowing creek. The creek bed is a mix between large mountain stones and smaller river stones of various colors, including blue quartz and sand.Across the river, you can explore the rockwork foundation of what used to be an old mill or enjoy playing in the seven-acre hayfield. The area is graced with an abundance of wildlife, including deer, wild turkeys, and the occasional black bear.There are also friendly miniature goats, chickens, and ducks that are raised on the land and located by the owner's 1797 farmhouse. Come and enjoy life in an area where time is kept in seasons, berry season, cherry season, peach season, apple season, etc. Directions to local pick-your-own orchards and berry patches are available as requested. And while it might be hard to pull yourself away from this cozy campsite, we do recommend a drive along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway (less than ten minutes away) or take a hike up one of the many mountain trails located close by in the national forest. Most importantly, we hope and pray you will enjoy your stay.

The long, paved driveway, winds through rhododendrons and hardwood forest before it gives way to rolling meadow and open sky. Perched at the top of a grassy ridge line you'll find your cozy campsite. A place to escape from your every day and enjoy a slower, quieter pace. The front deck is the perfect place to take in the sights and sounds of nature, the sunrise, the starry nights, the deer grazing and the birds singing.Please feel free to explore the property, there are paths and trails throughout. There is a small playground and tree swing that you are welcome to use. Our campsites are on the historic Hinton-Alderson Airport and overlook the scenic Greenbrier River. Only an hour and 15 minutes drive away from New River Gorge National Park. Look under Extras to see local amenities such as kayaking, tubing, and canoeing. We have 3 sites at the airport, Cub, Stearman, and Skyhawk. There are over 100 yards between the sites, so your privacy is guaranteed! Firewood is on-site for the firepit/grill. The front of the tent faces the river, and the porch provides a scenic spot to watch the river flow! The Greenbrier River is a great place to fish for smallmouth bass. You can obtain a fishing license online by going to https://www.wvhunt.com. The airport does not have fuel, but KLWB has fuel, rental cars, a 7000-foot runway, and is only 18 nautical miles away! Also close to the KLWB airport is a fabulous WV Distillery (Smooth Ambler). If you fly into camp, you can get a rental car at KLWB and easily get to white water rafting and other outdoor adventures at New River Gorge National Park. But if you want to stay local, there are several rafting companies that will provide you with a variety of watercraft, pick you up at the airport, and drop you off at a put-in location. They will meet you at the end of your float and return you to the airport! See the Extras tab for their names and numbers! He mounted his horse Skylark and vaulted a fence, narrowly escaping but losing his hat. The campsite is situated on the edge of a field overlooking the land where Stuart escaped. Replace the bustle of busy roads with the sights and sounds of nature. You can drive up to our campsite to unplug and relax, however 4x4 may be recommended in adverse weather conditions. Clear nights provide incredible views of the stars above. Jebs Escape is secluded enough to escape reality, but just a short drive to Edwards General Store, Unionville Brewing Co (3 miles), and many Civil War era landmarks. We are in the perfect location to visit historical landmarks and visit some of Virginia's best wineries! Minutes away, is the small town of Remington. Corner Deli is a must for breakfast! Craft and Crust is great for hanging out with good local food while sipping on your favorite beverage for lunch or dinner. It is 15 minutes to the Town of Culpeper, 20 minutes to Warrenton.
