The Nest is under 200 sq ft and located within the alpaca fenced in area to provide a unique yet private farm stay. We encourage independent and leave-no-trace guests.Located near the back of our property you'll find the Nest overlooking the creek. Self check in with secure key code and private drive. With electric, but NO running water, you'll have all the amenities to relax and rejuvenate. Three gallons of spring water is provided for drinking & cooking in the kitchenette. Counter top oven with air fryer (and many other cooking features) and electric stove top burner for cooking. Hickory wood floors throughout and lots of blankets and pillows to keep you comfortable. King sized bed in the sleeping nook with cotton sheets to keep you cool at night.The small bathroom is located inside the Nest. Just a few miles down National Road to the east is one of our many golf courses. Our area is full of antique shops and one of the largest indoor antique malls in the country. The Clark County Fairgrounds holds a show each month and three extravaganzas per year with over 2000 vendors. We are close to shopping, restaurants and Buck Creek State Park with its boat launch and beach. Springfield is home to a Performing Arts Center, Heritage Center, Museum of Art and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Westcott house. If you want to travel a little further, we have the National Museum of the United States Air Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Columbus Zoo, COSI Columbus and the Jeffersonville Prime Outlet Mall. Welcome to the Greenhouse Getaway, a unique agritourism glamping experience less than 15 min. to Chautauqua Lake, wineries, hiking, biking & shopping. Permitted by the NY Dpt. Agriculture & Markets and a Certified Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation, your little slice of nature located in the rural countryside, will help you disconnect from the busyness of life.During your stay you will find the main Greenhouse, perched up to make you feel like you’re in a treehouse, which contains all the plants and a separate tiny home on wheels for sleeping.Horticulture experience: each guest will be able to pick out their own unique pot & plant located in the Greenhouse. The potting station has all the elements to make your plant(s) beautiful & healthy. Simple step by step instructions are provided. There are also many horticulture books on the shelf.The Greenhouse: built/ designed with reclaimed and vintage materials including many French doors from Cleveland, OH, reclaimed slate roof, and reclaimed school bleacher seats for the potting benches. We love being eco-conscious which is reflected through the space. Some items are new & some are well loved. Rock painting is also located in the Greenhouse.Tiny House on Wheels (THOW): The THOW contains a trundle bed for sleeping which has two twin mattresses. The lower mattress pulls out and can be popped up next to the other mattress. The THOW also has a mini fridge and kitchenette area with coffee maker, spices, pots/ pans, dishes, silverware, two burner cooktop, and small convection oven. Coffee, cream, and sugar are always provided for guests :)Important things to note:*No running water, no WiFi, and no A/C (although a Dyson heating/ cooling fan is provided). The glamping space was created to bring you back to nature. You may encounter all walks of nature during your stay. Birds are nesting, deer are frolicking, cows may be heard in the distance, and tractors/ country trucks may be heard passing which is all part of the countryside experience.There are many great things to do in the area that are within a 15 min drive. Hiking, boating, biking, etc. Please refer to my Chautauqua Guide Book for a detailed list with some my favorite things to do in the area. Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau is another great resource.We love pets. 1 house trained pet under 50# is welcome (pet fee applies).If you bring your fur baby, he/she must be leashed outside. You will be responsible for all vet fees if an incident occurs with the neighbors’ outside cats.
