Tentrr is a trusted partner of BookOutdoors.The camp site is located, between Grass Valley and Colfax, on 40 private acres that shares a 1200 ft boundary with 40 acres of public land managed by BLM. It is in a mixed wild land/rural area of land on a knoll top terrace with East and Southeast exposure overlooking the Red Dog crossing in Greenhorn Canyon, and the Tahoe National Forest beyond. There are level pads for extra tents and vehicles and RV camping in addition to the Signature Tentrr Tent platform setup and amenities. A metal fire/grill pit, table, a few chairs and limited access to an outhouse with a flush toilet connected to a residential septic system. There are good sunrise views from camp, and decent sunset views looking west a short, 1/4 mile hike to another spot on the property. Camp is located within the transition zone forest of Black Oaks, mixed conifers, manzanita and other common Sierra foothill vegetation. Camp is 20 minutes from downtown Nevada City or Grass Valley, 30 minutes to Colfax, 1 hour to Sacramento, 2 hours to Reno, and 3 hours to San Francisco.

Tentrr is a trusted partner of BookOutdoors.Each camp site is next to a year round creek in a meadow surrounded by trees.Sites include picnic table, charcoal BBQ pits, access to potty, community volley ball net and tetherball in the meadow. Each site can accommodate up to 10 campers comfortably and 2 cars. There is over flow parking up by the entrance to the meadow and camp sites off of the dirt road. Lots of wild life including birds, great blue heron, deer, fox, rabbits, and so much more! There is direct access to hiking, biking trails and horseback riding trails. Camp sites are 3 miles off of the power grid in the Sierra Mountains, located in a secluded area on private property, backed up to the Stanislaus National Forest. Unfortunately burning has been suspended in our area for the summer but we do offer tall out door patio heaters that provide for heat in the cool evenings and give a nice ambiance to your camping experience. The heaters are available during check out or you are welcome to bring your own. Drive right up to this fun-filled, family-friendly campsite, easily accessible by motorhome, travel trailer, cars and SUVs alike. This site features two seasonal streams that cross on the property, as well as bushes full of ripe blackberries on the back 20 - if you catch them at the right time, help yourself. You'll enjoy hearing the birds echoing through the trees and could easily see our Goats, Donkey and Llamas. Dogs on leash only. We provide water, and electricity. One 8 ft round tree teepee. You bring the bedding/ sleeping bags.We raise 4H and FFA show and market goats, llamas, and a donkey, all of whom are very friendly! You'll also see our chickens, ducks, peacocks, and guinea hens. Rock pilings are on the island between the two seasonal streams that cross our land on the back 20. Gold panning, hiking and creek walking is available on the property. Campers are welcome to stargaze in the field, create scavenger hunts for the kids, or simply sit back and enjoy the tranquility.Trank Family Farm is 30 minutes from Lake Oroville, 20 minutes from Oroville Wildlife Area and the Feather River - great for kayaking, swimming, and fishing! Be sure to check out the trails and seasonal waterfalls at Table Mountain, 35 minutes away. There are 2 Indian Casinos & Hotels in Oroville, as well as 2 golf ranges - and all with in 20 minutes of the camp site. The college town of Chico is about 30 minutes outside of Oroville. If you want to explore farther, Butte Mountain range and the city of Paradise, CA is 45 minutes away. We can't wait for you to come visit!

Bridgeport Reservoir Marina and CampgroundThe marina and campground is located in Northern Mono County, on the East Side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, in California. We are approximately 1 hour North of Mammoth Lakes, CA and about 2 1/2 hours South of Reno, NV.Services include 80 ft. pull-throughs, Electric, Water, Sewer, Wi-Fi and Tent Camping as well access to Off-Road Trails to the Bodie Hills.The resort overlooks Bridgeport Reservoir in what is akin to a “Great Basin-High Desert" environment. Beautiful views and open space add to the charm and experience of staying at the reservoir.Established in 1924, the reservoir was constructed to aid farmers and ranchers downstream in NV. Soon after, it was realized a strong fishery could occur here too. Today, it sustains a population of Rainbow and Brown Trout as well as some Sacramento Perch. A rich eco-system, similar to Crowley Lake, provides an unlimited food supply for the fish to grow and populate.
