By request, we can light the community fire during the week as well. We have free children’s crafts. Ours is a family-oriented campground that aims to make your family’s stay a fun and memorable experience. Within a few minutes of our campground you can visit Mall of America, Valley Fair, MN Zoo, Mystic Lake Casino, Canterbury Park Raceway, Twins baseball stadium, US Bank Stadium, as well as area museums, lakes with bike and walking trails, theaters and a huge variety of restaurants. Take the nature walk from our campground to the Boiling Springs in Eagle Creek – a leisurely 1.25-mile round trip stroll. Maps available in the office. Use our well maintained laundry facility! We have 30 & 50 amp pull through full hookup sites and water & 30 amp electric sites without sewer hookup but there is a dump station on your way out.We also have tent sites with or without 20 amp electric, 2 sleeper cabins, a chalet, glamping tent and rental camper for those that don't have their own RV.

Today, the mines have closed and are filled with crystal-clear water, and the hills of overburden are covered in poplar and spruce. More than half our city is located within the 5,000 acre Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area, which has more than 24 miles of natural shoreline, seven miles of paved bike trail, and nearly 25 miles of world-class, IMBA certified mountain bike trails.
