Within walking distance of the campsite is Cellar 1914 the family's winery where they make all the wine and hard Ciders served at the tasting rooms. Central Lake is home to Torch Lake which was voted the third most beautiful lake in the world. Its crystal clear waters and sandy bottom offer views from depths of 100 feet to the bottom. The farm is also 1.5 hours away from Historic Mackinac Island and the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes national park.

Camp under the Northern Stars. Our sites along the river enjoy a sandy beach area for swimming, tubing, kayaking, fishing. We have both primitive sites & modern sites with electric. There is a bath house with showers. Cedar River is now passable for tubing & kayaking from the River Rd. Trailhead (end of bike trail) to our campground!  Our campground is open from May 1 to November 30.

Situated on 129 acres along the shore of 4000 acre Hardy Pond, this park's "Up North" look and feel makes it hard to believe that Grand Rapids is only 45 minutes away. The park offers modern and semi-modern camping with 25 water, sewer, and electric sites, 72 water and electric sites, 28 electric sites and 100 sites without hookups. The campground has 2 bathroom/shower buildings and a sanitation station. There is a large semi-modern group campground for youth organizations, family, church groups, and camping clubs. Also available are picnic areas, large sandy swimming beach, playground, boat launch, and dock rentals. Sandy Beach also includes sites with full hookup, pull through, water views, new camping cabins, and a picnic shelter.

There are over 80 inland lakes and 275 miles of streams and rivers, with numerous state and county parks in which to get close to the natural beauty that surrounds you in Kalkaska. The county averages 126 inches of snow each year, perfect for winter weather enthusiasts.

Our sites are easily accessible with 55 sites having "drive-thru" access. We welcome owners of the "Big Rigs". Covenant Hills Camp is owned and operated by the East Michigan Free Methodist Church but the rv park is open to any and all visitors. You do not have to be a member of the Free Methodist Church to enjoy our facilities.
