Campsite amenities offered include a playground, picnic tables, fire circles along with basic amenities such as restrooms with hot showers and laundry facilities. Martin Stream CampgroundMartin Stream Campground is a clean, quiet, peaceful campground with a great family atmosphere nestled on 18 wooded acres along Martin Stream in Turner, Maine. The campground is located in the western mountain region of Maine in the beautiful town of Turner. We offer a pet-friendly environment along with the ability to accommodate a variety of camping styles- from tents to large RVs with slide outs. Camp on one of 55 wooded sites (many along the stream) and enjoy the peacefulness of the campground. All sites have water and 30 amp electric hookup, along with a picnic table and fireplace. Enjoy excellent fishing from many of our sites and dock, or canoe/kayak along 22 miles of river or stream from the campground. You may also hike one of the many mountains around us located in the Western Mountain Region. Martin Stream Campground was established in 1970 and has been running as a campground ever since. Each site is surrounded by tall leaf filled trees. The sites are spacious enough that you won't feel like you're on top on your neighbor. Coos Canyon Campground & CabinsWe are a small, family ran campground nestled in the River Valley area of the lakes and mountains region in Byron, Maine. Our campground is very accessible being located just off of the scenic by-way, state route 17 on the Swift River. Our quiet natural campground and cabins are set up for samples who want to take in the beauty that Maine's Lake and Mountain region has to offer. We have something for every type of camper, including RV sites, tent sites and cabins that have a rustic charm. Sites range from no hook-up to full 20/30/50 amp sites, wooded and secluded, some with riverfront access. One of the highlights of our campground is the Swift River, which is a popular place to pan for gold, collect rocks or swim. Coss Canyon has a 32 feet high gorge where the water depth occasionally exceeds 20 feet. Also in abundance from our backyard are hiking trails, ATV trails (250 miles), scenic overlooks, quaint towns, eateries, wildlife and fishing/hunting areas. Our ATV friendly camping areas are just a short jaunt to the trails, and you can ride right to your site. Snowmobiling, snow shoeing and skiing are only a few of the top highlights during the winter months. Monty's Bay CampsitesMonty's Bay Campsites was established as a sole proprietorship by Gerard and Sally Bechard in 1963. Today there are 125 campsites, a picnic area, convenience store, laundry facilities, activity center, bath house and a swimming pool. In 1991 Gilbert Brook Marina was added. The marina has 168 boat slips, 102 boat moorings and a boat ramp. Monty's Bay Campsites is located on Lake Champlain, 12 miles south of the U.S.-Canadian border, and 8 miles north of Plattsburgh, New York. Monty's Bay Campsites' location at the center of Monty bay offers 1/4 mile of shoreline and panoramic views of the surrounding New York and Vermont shorelines and mountains. Our season extends from May 1st to October 1st. Monty's Bay Campsites is only 4 miles from exit 40 on Interstate 87, and is a mere 15 minute drive from Plattsburgh for a variety of retail shopping, restaurants, and other conveniences.
