Tentrr is a trusted partner of BookOutdoors.Dahlonega Hideaway Farmstead Campsite is conveniently located just under 10 miles from Downtown Dahlonega and only 14 miles from Downtown Gainesville. We are hidden away on the end of the road on a small 17 acre Farm. The farm houses horses, mini cows, goats, pot belly pigs, chickens and the hosts have two dogs that love to run around the property. The animals are allowed to roam free in the pastures so don't be surprised if you get a visitor that is curious or just wants to say hi. The campsite is located on the back side of the farm that is shaped like a big L. Vehicles are preferred to park at the horse stalls on the pavement where campers will be provided with a golf cart for their use and to transport gear as needed. Vehicles with 4x4 can request to park at the campsite for convenience. There are 12 acres of rolling pastures where the campsite is located and there is access to a small pond that is stocked full of bass and bream fish. There are plenty of recreational activities and great local wineries and venues to explore. There is an additional 4 person tent (a queen bed can be requested) that is onsite and can be setup for guests upon request. After 4 guests, will incur additional charges. Our glamping site sits near the corner of our 10 acre farm and is bordered by forest service land. While you are here, we hope you enjoy the peace and serenity of the quiet country life, while still being close enough to local amenities and attractions to be convenient. We are within short driving distance to numerous areas of interest in the southern Appalachian mountains to include Georgias highest point at Brasstown Bald. Other local attractions include Vogel State Park, Helton Creek Falls, Farmers Market, access to Application trail and many more. Additionally our site is a refreshing 10-15 minute walk/hike through the forest to a private cove on beautiful Lake Nottely which sits about 400 yards from the site. We are excited to share this experience with you! We got the name of the site from our son who says be Fareful when meaning be careful!

You can do as little or as much as you want. There are endless ways to spend your time at our mountain get away. You are 5 1/2 minutes by car to Starbucks and Waffle House. Only 8 1/2 minutes to Clemson University's Bowman Field. Just 3 1/2 minutes away by car, the Twelve Mile Recreation Area on Lake Hartwell is a great place for picnics, boating, swimming, fishing, etc. Spend the day hiking at many nearby locations.
