The Leeway

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIMES

The Leeway offers self-check-in starting at 4 PM. Guests are welcome to arrive anytime after that. Early check-in may be available with advance notice. If your room is not ready, we're happy to store your luggage while you enjoy the grounds. Check-out is at 11 AM. Late check-out fees apply after 12 PM ($50) if the room is available. Please contact the office for availability.

CHECK-IN MINIMUM AGE

Guests must be 21 years of age or older to check in at The Leeway.

ADDITIONAL PERSONS

Our suites cannot accommodate additional guests beyond the maximum occupancy listed. Children over the age of 5 are considered guests. For safety reasons, please supervise children at all times and do not leave them unattended in guest rooms or allow them to roam the hotel property unsupervised. Cots or cribs are not available.

PETS & SERVICE ANIMALS

We welcome up to two canine companions (60 lbs or less) in designated pet-friendly rooms for a one-time fee of $75 per dog. Only dogs are permitted as pets, and they must be leashed when outside the room. A $250 fee will be charged if pets are found in non-pet-friendly rooms or if your pet causes damage to a pet-friendly room. If damages exceed $250, you will be notified, and the estimated repair cost will be charged to your credit card on file. If pets are discovered in non-pet-friendly rooms, they will need to leave the property unless a pet-friendly room is available.

VISITORS

Visitors are not permitted after 10:00 PM and must register with our staff upon arrival. Registered guests must accompany their visitors at all times and are responsible for their behavior.

NOISE POLICY

Quiet Hours are from 9pm to 9am. If you become aware of a disruptive guest, please contact our staff immediately by text or in person. Televisions, voices, or other devices must be kept at a respectful low level at all times.

WILDLIFE

Our hotel is located within the Catskill Mountains, where the wildlife is very active. Please be aware of the wildlife on the property. No animals should be fed or approached. Please make sure that all the food and trash are in a secure designated area.

LOST & FOUND

The Leeway assumes no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have left behind something of value to you, please call us immediately and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item. Any item, with the exception of perishable items, left behind by our guests and found after departure by Housekeeping will be collected, logged in, and kept in a secure location for collection by the owner for up to fourteen (14) days. We would be happy to return your lost item(s) to you. Your credit card will be charged packaging and postage, plus a 25% handling fee. A separate receipt will be mailed to you. The Leeway is not responsible for any item lost or misdirected during shipment by the shipping service.

PROPERTY DAMAGE

Guests are liable for any damage to rooms, hotel premises, or property caused by themselves or their party during their stay. The Leeway reserves the right to charge your registered credit/debit card to cover the costs of repairs or replacements as deemed necessary. We will make every effort to rectify damages internally and keep repair costs reasonable.

ROOM FURNITURE/ART/DECORATION

Please do not move or remove furniture within your room or between rooms. Artwork, decorations, and electrical appliances must remain in their designated places and be used only for their intended purpose. Any costs associated with rearranging items or damages will be charged to your credit card.

NO-SMOKING POLICY

All the suites at The Leeway are 100% smoke-free. A $250 cleaning surcharge will be imposed on any room where guests have smoked in their room.
